Blanchard's Coffee Broad Street

I absolutely love Blanchard's-- their cafe location on Broad Street, their vending machine at the roastery, and ordering online for shipping. They always have a variety of high quality, freshly roasted coffee beans. I love that they share the special story behind the location and processing of each type of coffee. Blanchard's ranks as my favorite Richmond coffee. Today I ordered El Ocaso filter coffee, which was perfect! I also tried their olive oil seed bread. Now they have a small sliding door window and mic for easy, clear pick up at the Broad Street location. Currently, patrons are not allowed inside due to Coronavirus. When it was open pre-covid, it was a stylish, cool place to hang out, eat, and sip coffee. I look forward to when it reopens inside! Overall, I highly recommend Blanchard's for all of your coffee needs and wants!

Wow! Awesome coffee! Awesome atmosphere! 👏🏽👏🏽 This place does not disappoint! They serve all the drinks with a small glass of sparkling water as well. It’s very clean with modern deco. I definitely will be going back here! Great place to get work done or read. Probably one of the best coffees I’ve had in downtown Richmond.

Apparently they’ve taped off EVERY outlet and will kick you out if you use one. I got scolded by an employee saying this is not a library it’s a coffee shop… I usually love coming here to study but this experience was a huge turn off. What do you think? Is this acceptable?

One of the best lattes I've ever had! I tried the vanilla one (hot). Best coffee in Richmond and they have huge bags of premade lattes and coffee beans. Nowhere to sit, but I took mine to-go.

My absolute favorite coffee shop in Richmond hands down. It’s beautiful and their same level of attention to detail that has been displayed in their roasting of coffee has been put into their producing the coffee! Incredible place and amazing coffee!

Love Blanchards. I am a daily regular at Golf Park in a lynchburg and they solely partner with Blanchards. I didn’t get the opportunity to go in the shop because of Covid but the baristas at the window were so nice! Very quick service.

Blanchard's is my favorite local and regional coffee shop for that matter. All of their lattes have house made syrup, are always balanced and never too sweet. I keep stock of Blanchard's at home as well. Basecamp, RVA, and Richmond blend are my top three. Rosedale is also great for cold brew when they have it. You can find the bagged coffee at Perk Bon Air, Elwood's, Kroger and Whole Foods.

This location is definitely bare bones coffee shop so set your expectations accordingly. They do one thing and do it very well so I can't argue with that.

I have long awaited a Blanchard's coffee shop. All of my expectations were exceeded. The shop has a bright and airy Scandinavian vibe. The large windows and urban view are delightful. Lots of tables and plugs for those using laptops. Very popular and bustling inside. The coffee and pastries are served on small trays with a glass of sparkling water. Very friendly staff and beautiful presentation of drinks. A particularly nice touch was the staff asking if the name on the card should be used for the order. This is a small but incredibly considerate note for trans folks. An all around great experience. Looking forward to longer hours and many caffeine fueled work sessions.

I only got the matcha and it was okay, not the best I’ve had and definitely not the worst. It was grainy and had a bit of a unpleasant aftertaste. The shop was amazing though. Had a very nice atmosphere and was very tastefully decorated. The staff where very friendly, helpful, and had the drinks ready in a very timely manner.
