Grabbed a light breakfast here after flying in for the day. The green smoothie was tasty and the croissant was flaky and warm. It was a nice experience.

If you enjoy Peets, you might also like Greenberry. I have not been disappointed up to this date. Great service and the drinks are great.
This has nothing to do with the coffee shop itself but the customers that go here make it a little uncomfortable for those who are of color. Went with my family the other day and most of the people there (all white folks) that day just stared like they've never seen people of color in McLean let alone in a coffee shop in McLean.

I’ve been coming here for years to work, meet clients and have small team meetings. In general, I’ve always had a positive experience. Recently, younger staff/cashiers have acted rudely/arrogantly towards me, which has been disappointing since I’ve been a regular customer for so long. But that’s just one or two of their newer/younger workers. Other than that, I’ve had great coffee and food and also love their new screened-in outdoor area!

Really nice coffee shop with outside seating.

This coffee is the best and freshest coffee you can buy in a store! Our local Costco sells the Vienna blend and it’s delicious. I almost cried when I went to Costco and they were out! Good thing they restocked.

I previously went to the Greenberry in the Red Cross building, which I loved. I recently called this location to see about getting some of the same scones I got there. When I called, the manager offered to bake me some and accommodated my request. She also took my coffee order over the phone so we could quickly grab our items (I live in Alexandria).
When I arrived, my order was ready and the scones were hot. A lovely treat.

You ask for a coffee and the young workers turn around, fill a cup, and look at how much tip you left. You get an angry stare if you didn't trip them...for a coffee to go. Often, they look angry even after leaving a tip. I don't need this negativity in my life and I stopped going there.

An independent coffee shop with the usual brewed and espresso-based offerings. Prices are competitive. WiFi is available, but one must request a password slip at the counter for a one-hour session. The place tends to be crowded all morning, so sitting at a table might not be an option. There is an outdoor seating area for warmer weather enjoyment. The staff is friendly; the manager not so much. I only get here occasionally (when something else brings me to the neighborhood), but I drop in when nearby.

Called Manager to advice baristas need to be more friendly and unfortunately the manager didn't even apologize just said "OK". Not going here again. That is what happens when you give other coffee shop a try. .

Consistently good coffee, tea and some nice pastries. It's worth supporting this small business, and everyone who works there is very friendly and professional.
Addendum: The products they sell there are still good, but this is a note about their customer service. I don't know if they're going to read this, but I will say that I just got the door locked in my face, which I feel is rather poor customer service. I got there one minute before closing and literally had my hand on the door about to open it when the woman pulled it shut and locked it and smiled right at me. Frankly I'm still in disbelief. What kind of business does that?
