Small serving sizes for the price. Spent over $50 for the two of us to have breakfast and coffee. Also have to bus your own dishes. Atmosphere was cool and the building was neat.

The first time I was here I just got an iced coffee and the second time I got a dissapontingly stale scone, so I'm glad I went a third time before writing a review!

First: their omelettes are incredible. The ingredients are flavorful, the texture is perfect, and I felt like I got a good amount for the price I paid. The colorful potatoes were crispy on the outside and as creamy as mashed potatoes on the inside, which is really hard to do, especially on a busy Friday morning!

Second: their iced coffee is wonderful. There's complexity and smoothness without compromising the strength, and I will definitely get it again and again.

Third: the staff have been nothing but pleasant. They're engaging, friendly, and very communicative about your order - plus, they're very interesting to talk to!

Nice coffe and the food looks good I didn't try any though I had just ate. A nice place to chill with a friend.

This coffee shop is great for studying or meeting up with friends.
It is a good spot for breakfast, or lunch.
There is a perfect little porch in the back where I like to bring my dog.
Also, they have a new light and refreshing drink. It's espresso over spritzer with orange bitters. I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite places in all of Lynchburg. Wonderful coffee and food. The staff are always welcoming and make you feel like family.

I read reviews that this was on the pricey sida, and it sort of is. However, it's really gooood! They made an iced macchiato the way I like it - the barista wants you to have the coffee you deserve! The coffee was sttong like it should be & the O Canada flavors was like having real maple syrup cookies from home! A blondie and the macchiato with flavor was $10, which is on par with those large, impersonal chains. No matter how crowded, it seems peaceful. I love the old building and wood floors! I can't wait to try their waffle boats for breakfast.

Just Another Local

Coffee is great - unfortunately, not good enough to redeem the rating. Everything else is severely lacking. This place used to be my favorite go-to spot. Awesome staff, great food and pastries, and great service. It seems they had some big changes because I noticed a few months ago that the entire staff changed. It's really gone down hill since then. Food is sub-par, if that. The new cook leaves a lot to be desired, too. Organization is non-existent - this place is a trainwreck. I think they're trying to turn it into some hip hop joint? It used to be relaxed and classy. Now, I often hear hip hop or similar playing, and the menu descriptions on the board are crude, tasteless and offer no actual explanation. For example, "The biggie" is followed by "for the true players and the hunnies with money". What even is that!? All of the "descriptions" are something like this. The pastries have been great, when they're there. The owner really needs to consider doing another revamp, or whatever they did a few months ago, and hire a new chef, bring back the classier environment, food, well-stocked pastries, and good service. Because right now, it's awful and I will not be back until something changes.

Limited menu for my tastes. Although prices may be at par for their local, prices were considerably higher than what I would want to pay on a regular basis. It cost just shy of $16.00 for two small coffees, (1 mocha Latte regular, and 1 caramel iced Latte, plus the smallest tip). Had it not been that the person I was with needed their restroom facilities, I doubt I would have been inclined to make the purchase, but I try to be courteous enough to patronize businesses that provide amenities.

The food was delicious and unique, but not cheap. I felt like it was a fair price though considering the quality. This isn't just some microwaved, grocery store pastries. It is wonderful designed plates cooked fresh by a cook who knows their stuff. A sandwich and a coffee could cost you $20, but it is really a full meal and great experience. The interior has a nice cozy vibe to it with lots of seating options. Went there on a Saturday morning and they had someone playing live music. I'd recommend this place to anyone who likes good food and quality local restaurants. I would not recommend it to someone who wants a cheap coffee and a snack.

Pour over was fantastic, Mike the Barista was kind. I sat for a few minutes before ordering and he had checked on me to make sure he hadn't missed an order while I was waiting on my friend.
