This cafe was very cozy and bigger than it looks! There is some street seating outside, a big open room in the front, a smaller quieter room in the back, and a large outdoor patio in the back! There were several people working on laptops, and others gathering socially. The staff were helpful at answering questions about the menu. The brown sugar poptart was delicious! I also enjoyed the Gold Hart latte, although it was VERY sweet! I am lactose intolerant, but they had plenty of milk alternative options for lattes. I also tried the drip coffee, and it was exceptional! I don't normally like black coffee, but their drip dark roast didn't need anything to make it tastier!

Nice place and not crowded. Have many places to seat. You do not need to get stressed out to find available seats. Good atmosphere to study indoor. Haven't tried brunch menu, but I want to try some later. There was nice deck outside.
Parking rots are available!

I enjoyed my first visit to White Hart Cafe. The salad ingredients are extremely fresh. I asked the chef if the ingredients used are locally grown, and he said they try hard to use only local foods which is a huge plus in my book. The Chai tea and potato wedges were also delicious!! I like the laid back atmosphere of the Cafe, it has unique character and the staff are great. Pricing is decent and the selection of menu items is sufficient.

This is where you go to try something different. Food and drink names are purposely vague so you branch out from the routine. I got “Bunny’s Biscuit” - a semi scone like blueberry biscuit with sausage and cheese and a variety of properly seasoned of potatoes. The “Hot Honey Latte” was great too it’s like a regular latte but right about of sweet and spicy. The (oat milk?) balanced whatever was going on out. Setting is very causal from bar-type service. Definitely recommend!

Wow. This small crew take orders, make specialty coffees, and crank out great food without skipping a beat! The place has a constant flow of customers on weekends but everyone gets fast service and there is plenty of tables. GO! You will not be disappointed.

TL/DR: Quickly has become a favorite. Coffe/Lattes always good. Food is exceptional. Hard to beat a coffee shop in the middle of downtown that serves good food.

Why My Rating?
Atmosphere: There are spacious tables if you have work to do or small tables if you are just catching up with a friend. Big windows for a view of downtown or sit in the back away from everything. This is why it is steadily becoming my go-to.

Food: Watching this team prepare food is cool. I told them on my last visit that they are simply artists using food as a medium. I'm working my way through the menu but I have never been less than pleased.

Location: Downtown Lynchburg immediately across the road from the Lynchburg Farmer's Market. Plenty of parking down the hill behind the shop in Public parking. Sometimes parking available in front on street.

Staff: Two different groups and both have been great. Coffee and food are prepared on opposite ends. Both crews seem knowledgable, efficient, and hospitable. Always have felt welcomed.

Atmosphere: As noted above. Has its own charm and personality. Plenty of space for those staying a while or just enough space for those needing a quick boost and a conversation.

Cleanliness: Very clean and comfortable

Prices: The menu for food is definitely on the higher end of the price scale but the type of food is why. Coffees are on par for typical prices.

This place was so tasty. we got a couple of their specialty drinks which were very original/unique. The atmosphere was lively and really charming. They also had board games for you to play.

Great coffee shop! They have kombucha on tap. I had the pumpkin spice,
and it was so good!! I also grabbed a gluten free apple cinnamon muffin, since they had them. It was tasty, but could have used more cinnamon. Hubby had a cortado, which he really liked. However, it did take some time to get on a busy Saturday morning. Allow time! The food looked delicious, but we didn’t have any. Loved the wing tip chairs in the windows! Very cool vibe!!

I had a morning meeting at White Hart on a weekday. It was pretty slow and the service was great. The quality of the espresso is good, strong but not bitter. I ordered a latte in a ceramic cup but I didn't order food. Very high quality ingredients (from what I tried). The patrons were just as friendly as the service team.

The atmosphere was really comfy. Just what you would hope for in a coffee shop. The side room was a little bit on the cold side but it was nice and quiet with a large window, letting in the natural light. There was a patio as well but a little bit too nippy to sit outside comfortably on a crisp fall morning.

Overall, this is a lovely little location. I strongly recommend visiting.

Went to another restaurant first and was a line with 45 minutes waiting. We decided to drive up the street and we spotted this place. So glad we did it. Awesome atmosphere, great customer service, beautiful outdoor space, and family-friendly. The best of all no waiting lines.
I had the burrito delicious and the latte so taste. Their potatoes are delicious too!
