Wife loved it. Really neat old shop. And decent prices. I liked that they used a smaller dairy farm for their milk.

One complaint is that in the covered side porch seating area there were several cigarette butts laying on the ground. Could easily have been swept up. Not something you want to look down and see all over the floor.

This is a great little coffee shop. The atmosphere is nice, love the art on the walls. prices are fair and the lattes are delicious. Service was good too. I would definitely come again if I were local (sadly just passing through).

Sadly not a happy experience. I had their brewed hazelnut flavored coffee. When I put the cream in I could see all the coffee grinds rise to the top. The cup was filled with grinds. Now, what bothered me wasn't the grinds as that can happen anywhere. Instead, it was the lack of an apology (and understanding) when I told the woman behind the counter. She was annoyed that I just did not want to take another cup from the same pot with the grinds and that she needed to brew a fresh pot.

Great little coffee shop! Ordered a frozen turtle mocha with an extra shot of espresso as well as an asiago cheese and jalapeno bagel. Both were terrific, love that they use a local small creamery for their dairy products!

The iced mocha was bold and excellent - the chai was weak and watery. Nice joint.

Espresso is decent, but a little light on texture and crema. Might be worth trying a slightly finer grind, or fresher beans. Shot time seemed a bit fast, but still pretty decent. Good cappuccino.

Depends on whose working the machine. Some days its an excellent latte others not so much. For instance I went to the coffee shop 3 times of one week. The 1st 2 times I ordered the cafe latte with double shots and it was excellent. The 3rd time I went that same week a different individual was working the machine and I literally drank 3 or 4 sips of the coffee and ended up throwing 80% of it away. I tried to drink it but could...it tasted water down and quite possibly was made with old milk. I'm not sure what was wrong with a latte but it did not taste right. This is not the 1st time I've had a bad cup of coffee at this particular coffee shop. Very inconsistent in quality.

Sometimes I am annoyingly picky about my coffee and to be fair, I had a little bit of an opinion of this shop before I went in. However I saw they have a nice machine and use quality coffee beans from good roasters.. so I was optimistic.
First impression of the shop walking in was that it was so dark and 'cozy'. If you like that atmosphere, that's great! Their menu is actually a hand full of small chalk board menus in seemingly no order which was pretty confusing. The baristas seemed nice but overall didnt really greet us or welcome us aside from asking what I would like to drink. I believe that and my total were the only things they said to me. Not really a problem for me though 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I was not a fan of my drink either and was unable to drink it.

A Review for Coffee Snobs: I've never seen so many wonderful looking Single Origin coffee beans..... that I wasn't allowed to drink. This place was very disappointing. It was like walking into a library filled with great authors, but only being allowed to read Dr. Seuss books. Only three flavors of coffee available, by Thermos only. No Pour over options available, no French Press available. Ordered a doubleshot and a small cup of the "regular thermos." The espresso was bitter, and was otherwise uninteresting. The coffee was pretty average. This place was probably great if you only order things ending in "latte." But if your looking for a great cup of Joe, Try again elsewhere.

Best coffee shop in Lexington. If you live here it's a great place to see unexpected friends and study or read. If you're just passing through it's just a nice place to slow down and take in the town. Regular customers have hooks that they can keep their mugs on, which gives LexCo a great homey feel. The quality of the coffee is top notch.
