Great coffee with a small town college vibe.

Excellent coffee, made exactly to order, and good pastries also. We loved the the shop itself. Well worth stopping by if you are in Lexington.

LOVE this place! Staff is SUPER nice, the inside is cozy with warm lighting, and as of right now, they require people to wear masks. They also have a wall of mugs and give you a discount if you use your own. They’re super eco-friendly which is amazing!!

Sadly when we visited and I bought my out of town friends with me the espresso machine was out of order and the menu was limited to coffee and or ice coffee. My friends were not impressed and I certainly hope they will return when things are back in order again. Coming in from a bigger city some people become accustomed to having another shop close by to go to instead when something is broken. I recommend getting that fixed asap before you loose too much business. The cashiers were acting kind of goofy and seemed a bit confused about the orders of 1 hot coffee and 1 ice coffee with a squirt of caramel flavor but eventually pulled it together and the coffees appeared as they moved onto the next order in line- my friends. I wanted to show off our little coffee shop as a part of why Rockbridge is such an amazing place, and my friends didn't feel the welcoming vibe that is normally displayed in and around Lexington and especially the small local businesses. You haven't lost a fan, but you did not gain any new ones either. Best of luck to you moving forward, I hope that you were able to get the machines repaired.

The coffee is great. That’s not the problem. The problem is the rude staff. They are rude to fellow community members and out of town people that make up a large part of our community. They are shedding a negative light on our community with their horrible customer service. I work at a fellow business in downtown Lexington that constantly has people visiting and looking for other businesses to shop at and I will never recommend Lexington Coffee Shop to those and anyone else in the Lexington community.

Great little, classic coffee shop. They look to have a large local clientele with their “mug club”. Daily coffee is tasty and they have some pastries and bagels. The butter croissant was excellent. I ordered an Americano and it was ready I’m a minute and perfectly hot. Homey atmosphere for sure and excellent service.

Great coffee, great service! We got a regular late and a toasted marshmallow latte. Great base latte. (Rich mouth feel, from the milk, perhaps? Really lovely.) Impressed with the toasted marshmallow flavor. Really gets the toasted part just right.

Great coffee in a historic town. The shop itself is really cool to walk through and it seems like a go to for locals. The staff were friendly and remembered us the second day we came in.

Good selection of hot and cold drinks including smoothies. Standard drip coffee was good. Lots of space to sit and relax. A somewhat hidden back room that was quiet enough to get some work done. Plenty of spacing. Free Wi-Fi.
