Amazing gluten free sandwich!! I was so excited to have a sandwich that I forgot to take a picture of the full sandwich (yes that’s just half of a gluten free sandwich 🥹) Got the roast beef and cheddar cheese on gluten free bread, the sirancha Cobb salad and my husband got the southwest chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious and the gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful when it came to letting me know about all the gluten free options! He also prepared my sandwich first on a clean toasting plate and with fresh gloves.

Wow! Terrific gem of a cafe just off the expressway with parking. The food was locally sourced with amazing freshness and flavor. Husband had roast beef sandwich on multigrain bread. I enjoyed a warm quinoa bowl with avocado and basil olive bread on the side. Coffee was perfect, too. Definitely will make this our lunch stop on 81.

Excellent!! Gluten free, dairy free and vegan options abound! We stopped here on twice- way up and back - when traveling. So nice to have a quick healthy option instead of greasy fast food! Salad was fresh and great variety. I made my own salad both times and chose my toppings. Be sure to note 5 toppings included in small and 10 toppings in large and some toppings like meat, avocado and microgreens are extra. The young lady serving me was so sweet but must have been new because she was confused about all this until her supervisor stepped in. Unfortunately she also overcharged me but when I pointed it out to supervisor he refunded us one of our entrees to make it right. Great customer service! My hubby had the turkey club sandwich twice and preferred the potato bread to multigrain. Their soups are gluten free! Also option for gluten free bread and even gluten free cookies and pumpkin roll. Didn't taste any of these but nice there was that option. Nice seating in restaurant but limited. Bathrooms were clean and adequate.

Be sure to check the bill before paying. We were charged over $17 for a “pick 2” menu option consisting of half portions. We were also charged a 7% local tax on top of a 5.3% state tax - not sure that’s legal. The food was decent and the 2 women preparing the food were very friendly. However the man at the register (we assume was the manager) made sarcastic comments to our group and at least 3 others. This felt like a place trying to squeeze extra money from unsuspecting customers, many of which are college students.

Stopped here while road tripping home as an alternative to fast food. Pretty much out of everything that we tried to order! Ended up with a veggie sandwich and large salad (split into to bowls because they were out of the normal sized bowls). Not terrible, not great. Was excited about kombucha on tap, but that was depleted as well and all the other drinks were unappealing.

I live in the DC metro area, I had to take a trip out to Southern VA. This was the first place in literally 100 miles that wasn’t Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, or Subway. Luckily they advertise on the highway sign, as a mostly vegetarian I was thankful to see this option.

Pros:
- Clean bathrooms
- Mask wearing / clean food handling
- Good menu options, fresh ingredients, fast service

Cons:
- Not open very late
- “Healthy” is relative, if you want less dressing or are trying to avoid sugar, fat, etc, you must be specific when ordering!

Food was pretty good. Lots of salad options. But restaurant needs to fix its advertising. The price for a large coffee is listed on the menu wall as $2.50 but they actually charge $3.93. Also, there’s a sign on the wall about using local Merge coffee, but I watched them pour Costco coffee beans into the grinder. Maybe a little short on the trustworthiness?

General manager truly made our first experience phenomenal. We will be back because of him! Plus the food was absolutely delicious (those micro greens - YUM!!!)

We stopped here for lunch on a road trip. Good food and friendly service. It hit the spot and was a nice change from fast food.

SO GLAD I STOPPED. Long road trip and fast food taking its toll, I thought the place sounded healthy. It’s SO DELICIOUS too! Called from the parking lot and ordered a simple Caesar salad wrap, oat milk latte, their strawberry lemonade and the pick two half n half of their tomato basil soup and grilled cheese. When I went to pick up the order, they said they were out of the tomato soup so they gave me the last ~2oz of it just to dip my grilled cheese in, and a bonus half cup of this spicy creamy chicken soup that I think was their jalapeño popper or creamy chicken tortilla? Not sure but it was spicy and delicious! Coming from Texas, anything spicy this far north is always suspect, but it was actually hot and amazing! Loaded with veggies and chicken cooked perfectly. Loved how creamy it was too. The tomato basil soup was also amazing!! I’m so grateful!

Now let’s talk about this strawberry lemonade. Y’all NEED to get some. I wish I had bought a gallon to take with me. It’s so fresh and flavorful; perfect balance of sweet and tart. They seriously need to work out a grocery store partnership. I want the recipe or a regular supply!!

My only criticism is covid precautions. Since I’m traveling and immune compromised I was nervous being in there with so many people and no masks on staff or patrons... but they were at least blasting the AC, and I was able to get in and out quickly. I know people think it’s political now but like I said, I’m coming from Texas where it’s still really bad, and I was free to risk everyone else’s health if I so chose. I think attracting folks off the interstate with that sign is a risk factor they could take more responsibility for. Mine weren’t the only Texas plates in the lot but I was the only customer wearing a mask....
