29th Parallel Coffee

By far the best coffee I have ever had. I was really sick of the sugary drinks at Starbucks and stumbled across this place upon a friend's request. Customer service is amazing and the owner of the shop seems to be very knowledgeable about his coffee.

Great place, makes some of the best coffee I have ever had. The owner is really nice and knows a ton about coffee. Support a local business and have your mind blown by an amazing cup of coffee!

I absolutely love the concept of this coffee shop. The prices are just right too considering the quality. One thing that they can improve on would be the speed of their service especially in the afternoon which is when I usually go.

In an area largely bereft of quality coffee, 29th Parallel is a godsend. It's a bit out of my way but I try to make it over here whenever possible because their coffee is excellent (pour-over or nitro is my go-to depending on the day) and I think it's important to support places like this in an area choked by incredibly bland, homogeneous food & beverage chains.

This place makes me sad I ever went to Starbucks while this was open. Every time I go here to get a bag of coffee for home he has something different, and every bag I've gotten has been excellent. I never thought I needed a coffee expert, but now I can't live without this place and the owner's selection.

I'm not sure what's going on, but every time I want to try this place the universe is working against me. Usually it's too full to sit, or a huge line, or they're closed when I didn't expect them to be.

Today, we walked in at 4:08pm. There was one person sitting in the front chairs and nobody else in the store. The shelves were empty and all the signs but one were blank. We waited a moment and somebody entered the store and told us he was closing because he had to get to his other job. So... until I actually get to try the coffee here, they get one star for service.

Had the best soy milk cappuccino there. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very nice place to come to chat with your friends or to do some school work done, most of the chairs have power outlets.

Seriously, this is the BEST coffee anywhere near Burke, Springfield, Fairfax, etc. Hand-crafted with care. COME HERE FOR GREAT COFFEE, not the big chain experience.

This is a great place obviously to have coffee, but this is a great place too for non caffeine lovers like me. They have a wide assortments of pastries and teas to choose from. And even their sandwiches and juices are excellent.

Super friendly staff. This coffee shop has a small town feel where people come to chat and hangout with each other. Great attention to detail in their coffee making.
