I love coffee! I roast my own coffee beans, have a ton of gadgets to make coffee and definitely know what coffee varietals I like.
This place Is very bare bones with not alot of options but everything they do, they do well (with no pretentious attitude.)

If you want a generic latte stamped out by a machine as quickly as possible, this might not be your cup of joe.
If you can accept that great coffee is a process, and takes a little time, come here and appreciate that you are going to have an amazing cup of coffee, latte or espresso. Have a little patience and enjoy the craftsmanship and folks who actually care what your coffee will taste like.
They rotate roasters and blends every two weeks or so, make their nitro cold brew in house (seasonally) and would love to be on a first name basis when you walk in the door.
Its a great place to start the day.

In a desert of suburban Starbucks this was an oasis. The coffee was excellent, the bagel sandwich simple but well-made and delicious, and the vibe was friendly and super chill. I also have to give particular praise to the music which was well chosen and at an appropriate volume (audible but not deafening and at a level where one could use headphones without having to crank up the sound). I look forward to coming again the next time I visit NoVA.

Limited choices of breakfast items or pastries. The wait times are very long but worth it for a pretty good cup of coffee.
In my opinion there needs to be another person attending the shop.

I wanted a change from my usual Starbucks coffees so I decided to try out this shop as I always come across it on my way to work.
Let me just say that the person who made my coffee, I think I heard someone call him Amir, seemed to mix a lot of TLC (Tender Loving Care) into my coffee because it was made exactly as I wanted a bit frothy and creamy to perfection. A great change from the almost machine-like process in which Starbucks makes your coffee.
The atmosphere in this coffee shop also was a pleasant difference. It did not have smooth jazz or blues songs playing; instead it had complete silence, so all you could hear were people talking and the sound of the man making coffee.
Definitely considering making this my new daily coffee shop as the atmosphere and the care in the drinks is just something Starbucks lacks

Personalized ambiance, great coffee, friendly attitude, definitely a better deal than some run-of-the-mill coffee chain

Kind, grounded, and passionate personalities behind the bar. The coffee and teas are superb and very well made and they carry many unique drinks as well: espresso cola, nitro coffee, etc. Love the decor and atmosphere - great place to work and meet. Highly recommend a visit!

I had no idea coffee could taste so good. I stopped by here because I was looking for some coffee and dreaded going to Starbucks again. I decided I’d give it a try. The coffee is more expensive, but it’s made right there for you and the taste is tremendous. Very quiet there which is a nice feature too. You should all try it.

By far the best coffee in Burke! We have needed a local coffee shop for years, so glad this one opened. Coffee, espresso, etc. is excellent. Great relaxed coffee shop vibe, nice music, great for getting work done or socializing.
