Ladies and gentlemen, a real coffee shop. Sit at the bar and watch your coffee brewed in pour-over fashion, or kick back on the couch with a good read while you await your espresso beverage. Pleasant atmosphere, a decent amount of seating given the relatively small shop space, and incredibly friendly service. My favorite coffee shop!

Great coffee with lots of options of you like espresso type drinks. They also have tea and hot cocoa as well as a few snacks. Pretty much a full service coffee shop. Free Wi-Fi and a good number of power outlets I'd you are trying to get work done. They are constantly making improvements all around too: menu additions, new lighting, more searing, etc. Word to the wise, if you want regular drip coffee it stops at 10am. This is a more sophisticated place after all, yet that fact seems to surprise many.

Delicious cortado, not too acidic or roasted. Relaxing, comfy place with courteous and welcoming owner.

The best coffee place anywhere near Fairfax. They exclusively serve coffee from PT's Coffee and have high enough turnover that they order fresh beans every single week. They are masters of the pourover and their espresso-based drinks are excellent as well.

On top of it all, the owner, Amir, is the kind of person you want to give business to, no matter what the product. Passionate, knowledgable and friendly.

But even if he was unpleasant I would be coming back again and again for the coffee. I don't judge coffee shops on pastries (which are incredible here!), open mic nights, ambiance, wifi (which is also great), or anything else. I only judge it by its coffee and this place is top notch.

Based on several visits, I find it adequate but just. Only one brewed coffee and a very limited menu of other items. The coffee is decent, but less than a half mile from Starbucks it is a feeble competitor. Hope time leads to improvement, however for the moment it is not worth the trip. Shall give it another try in a month or two.

Off the beaten path with coffee and tea offerings you won't find at Starbucks! I had a Moroccan tea, that tasted so good! I received an individual pot of tea and a small tea cup, allowing me to pour my tea and leisurely enjoy it. I will be back!

The guy who runs this shop cares deeply about his coffee. Met a few friends here yesterday morning and had a decaf pour-over that was one of the best decafs I've had in a long time. The tea selection is also quite good (a full array of Rishi teas). Would heartily recommend it to anyone who loves their caffeinated beverages.

The owner of 29th Parallel is wonderful. He's extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful. He wants you to enjoy your visit - what more can you ask for. I will return next time I'm in the area.

Unassuming and fairly incognito, you wouldn't think this little coffee shop, nestled in between Smashburger and Hair by Lynn, would be grinding decent coffee. But 29th Parallel Coffee and Tea offers fantastic pour overs, espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, hot chocolate, affogatos, and teas!

You can tell that Amir, the owner, and his team care very much about making a good cup of Joe for every person that walks through the door. They are friendly, passionate, and dedicated to the art of coffee making. You can watch them work their magic behind the counter; the pour overs are particularly fascinating!

I ordered a honey latte and it was divine. One of the best lattes I've had. The pour over was also very, very good. They have a decent number of tables and even a few couches to relax in. One row of tables by the wall has outlets so you can charge your electronics and utilize their free Wi-Fi for work and play. I spent an hour here sipping my latte and studying, and I didn't feel rushed by the staff or guilty for occupying space. Most folks take their coffees to go anyways, but it's a nice, (for the most part) quiet place to read/study/work.

I would definitely come back for more coffee and tea, and I would highly recommend this place to friends!

Their flat white was the closest I've tasted to the flat whites I drank in New Zealand. Super delicious and very good service! I found my new weekend coffee go to!
