Duck Donuts

We hired them to cater our wedding, and it was amazing! The donuts are always so fresh and delicious, and I got to choose the glazes and topping options offered. Two ladies came and handled the table and helped serve people the donuts, and we had a microwave to warm them up. The ladies (I wish I could remember their names!) were super nice and helpful, and the donuts were obviously a huge hit! Highly recommend them to cater your next event, and consider doing donuts at your wedding vs. the traditional cake! My husband and I had our own donuts, interlinked arms, and fed ourselves, but you could also split one in half and feed each other!

Donuts are fresh and the people there are always polite and friendly. I'm no chef but these donuts seemed heartier (baked?), as opposed to to light and airy ( fried like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme). But they're delicious and probably a lot healthier.

The workers were so nice. They were super backed up and still got the order out quickly. I have never been to a donut place like this, but immediately fell in love with my first bite. Everyone has been talking about how good this place is so I had to try. I ordered a cinnamon sugar and a lemon raspberry donut. Literally the best donuts I have ever consumed. They are light and fluffy and bursting in flavor. The donuts literally melt in your mouth. Will come back!

(Update - It easy 5/3/20 sometime between 5pm and close. I don't have the receipt anymore. Order was placed over the website and I picked up the order. I have only ever placed 1 order through the website for myself. )So after picking up literally a 100 orders for other people, I decided to try Duck Donuts myself. I am very disappointed. Other peoples donuts are always made with care and look so pretty. (Maybe the morning people are just better at their jobs) Mine on the other had (see picture)(Evening order on 5/3/20) were literally slopped together like nobody cared about the presentation of the order. My donuts are also missing several of the drizzles that I requested. And the icings that are on there are rock hard. I ordered these donuts thinking they would be good treats to get me through my finals, but it looks like I may need to go spend my hard earned money elsewhere from now on.

One of our favorite donut chains in the area. It’s fun bringing our out of town guests for the experience. I cannot say enough about the staff. They are so incredibly kind, patient, and customer service oriented. My husband and I prefer the “favorites” menu but our guests love creating their own special donuts with toppings. The donuts are always fresh and warm and leave our guests so happy. This is especially great for kids because you watch them make YOUR donuts from start to finish.

I have loved duck donuts since the first time I had them last March upon arriving in Virginia. By far some of the most delicious donuts I've ever had. And the fact that they are always fresh is a great bonus. Havent tried their breakfast sandwiches or drink yet, but I definitely plan to.

My sister ordered a $150 donut wall for our youngest sister’s bridal shower 2 months before the event. I went to pickup the order, but they had no record of it. They tried to tell me it was not their fault. They said they change managers so often that they have no records of ANY preorders. So they made me pay for 2 dozen donuts for the bridal shower, even though it was their mistake.

Moral of the story: Do not preorder from them. They will loss it.

It wasn't very crowded when I went. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. Everything smelled amazing! Prices are fair. The icing on the donuts was a little toooo melty and the toppings slid off a bit, but that's also because the donuts were warm and fresh. Definitely recommend!

Their wings are chronic especially the lemon pepper my new favorite and their fries were delicious the seasoning was so good & customer service was outstanding. I have been back several times & will continue going back. They absolutely deserved 5 stars ⭐️
