The Southern Café and Music Hall

I experience good customer service during my visit to The Southern Café and Music Hall; a helpful-kind employee helps me navigate a menu for Vegan options. The Falafel meal is really good (the Black Olives are so yummy, the Falafel is really good without the hummus even, the establishment prepares really good tofu, the vegetables are crisp as well as fresh, and the bread [which is like a pita bread] tastes so good [especially warmer] with the hummus). I pick at the meal during an entertaining concert! Fun!

I went for a concert, so I didn't taste the food, bit is right downtown amongst a host of other venues where activities are going on. As for the venue itself, it's very intimate. Not a bad spot in the place.

Sunflower Bean was amazing, and so was the price of the ticket and atmosphere. I'm looking forward to more shows here. Bully is up next.

First visit. The food was mediocre at best, service is counter service only. We were there for a show and wish we'd eaten elsewhere before going. The advertised southern fare, so the expectations were there, but I'm not sure what you would call their menu, but definitely not southern food.

Small music venue with good artists booked plenty of drinks to choose from and small menu. If from out of town be ready to pay Charlottesvilles high parking fees.

Great, small venue for live music. You can get right up to the stage for a great view of the band. Haven't had food there, but the beer selection is good.

Interesting venue: very few places to sit but standing-venue allows electric vibe among guests. With the right band, there's opportunity for lots of dancing and head bobbing. TAUK band brought that electricity. An amazing night!!! Would definitely return!
