Had a great experience dining here. We spent it with our extended family. We were a large group and they were able to accommodate us really quickly we had excellent service and the food was great as well I recommended highly go and have a good time

This was a great dining experience. We went there for dinner and sat at the bar, both bartenders were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the food and cocktails. Sitting at the bar you have a full view of the kitchen including the cooks working the wood fire for the grill, which was cool to see. We followed the bartenders recommendations and had the octopus, yuca fries and the skirt steak. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend checking it out.

The food and service at South and Central were phenomenal. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table and some amazing cuts of meat so we got to try a lot of things. It is definitely the way to do it! The empanadas, ceviche, duck confit, steak.. everything was delicious. Highly recommended!

First time trying this place. Food was okay, empanadas and ceviche were good but, hanger steak was tough. Service is bumpy and seems that they are still trying to figure out what they're doing. We were offered and accepted "bread for the table" which we assumed, like most restaurants, was complimentary, well nope, we were shocked $18!! Probably won't go back.

Our steak was great. The appetizers were very good. The fries were good, but rest of the sides very mediocre and very salty. No green vegetables on the menu, and many menu offerings were not available. Now for dessert…the lava cake was missing the lava! Very disappointing. And, there was no coffee available - yet we are right across the street from Shenendoah Joes. Hmmm it seems to me that the “supply chain” issues are an excuse when there are plenty of grocery stores in town who have managed to restock since Valentines Day. The manager was not “in” tonight, so unavailable for comment. I doubt I will return.

I have been there 3 times now for lunch. The food is very good. The only thing I would change is the brioche bun on their version on a hamburger. I love the yucca fries and dipping sauce. Every thing is so flavorful. The service staff is very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to go for dinner.

I came here for lunch last weekend and was so excited they served one of my favorite entrees Steak Frites. However, the steak was super chewy and stringy I couldn’t even eat it and it was covered in some kind of cheese. Steak frites is supposed to be topped with butter not melted provolone cheese. Service wasn’t great either, as we were the only guests there and the waitress would chat with coworkers, even though we were waiting so long for a ur check. I was disappointed with my meal and service so I will not be returning.

This place is our family’s favorite Atmosphere is chill and cool vibe. Friendly staff they know what they’re doing and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Chef Kelvino and kitchen staff they mastered of some classic South and Central American delicious dishes. Highly recommend!

I heard the food was great here, and it is. I took my parents, who were visiting from CA, and my family that lives in town. Our order of sides was missed by the kitchen, so entrees came out and there were no sides. The manager said he was sorry and they would come out soon. Two of the three finally showed up when our food was cold and then the third one even later. We asked that they take them off the bill and they did agree but the manager kept coming by frequently throughout this whole process to ask how we were doing, even though the issue hadn't been resolved yet. It was awkward. He then said he would give us dessert on the house. He brought out one dessert and two cookies for a table of six. That was also awkward. Needless to say, my family was not impressed after my husband and I had talked the food up. it was overshadowed by the poor service and the inability to address the situation appropriately.

Beautiful restaurant, great live musicians, the most delicious food. We had baked Provolone, Whole Branzinos, Wagyu Steak, all incredible. Dessert was just ok, and no decaf coffee.
I will say we were disappointed that they asked if we were there for a special occasion (we were) and then they did nothing. Why bother asking?
Definitely plan to return just for the food.
