Pretty good coffee shop. Appreciate the guy heating up my bagel! Cold bagels are lame…ha!

Decor might be a little off putting for some. Coffee doesn’t have to be political. We see it everywhere and I wish when that we could be free of ad pollution when we go to a cool little shop like this.

Outside of that, I liked the people and the things we ordered. They are busy bees in there but are very polite. They had a good selection of goodies and coffee though.

I ordered the special waffle, which comes with brie, apple and syrup. I wish they kept the syrup separate so that people could add it to their preferences! The latte was nice. Ambience was same as any regular coffee shop. They have free wifi, so you can sit there and work.

This place was awesome! Flat white so good and turkey panino was delicious. Someone reviewed that their bagels were bad but we got one and it was great! They heated it up for us and more importantly gave us plenty of cream cheese on the side :)

We ended up coming here every day during our visit. The waffles were also yummy!

I ordered kind of an interesting drink - blackberry vanilla with oat milk. It was recommended to me to use a milk alternative because of the acidity and let me tell you - it was worth it! Appreciate the kind staff and man they just made my morning!

Excellent service, cute ambience and neat roastery setup. 3 stars is merely because I felt the latte was extremely pricey and honestly a bit too weak for my liking (mostly just tasted like milk, like the espresso was missing entirely!) however, this could be my personal taste. I’d still suggest giving them a shot regardless as your mileage may vary!

Milli has been a go-to during my time in C’ville. It’s hard to find a place that’s consistent in the flavor of their coffee. Every time I’ve been here, the taste of the coffee has always shone through - not over powered by milk, sugar, or flavoring - whether in their coffee or lattes. I’ve even had their “adult” coffee with a shot of Bailey’s. They also have dairy substitutes, and whipped cream available (my preference is oat milk). Also, if you become a regular, I recommend getting a rewards account. The rewards are pretty good, and can get you anything from a free coffee, to a smoothie, to a waffle. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting C’ville or looking for a good coffee spot.

Atmosphere is also very chill. More difficult to enjoy due to COVID, but they make really good use of the space they have. Limited outdoor seating, but still existent. Didn’t see any outdoor outlets, but if you’re comfortable sitting indoors, it’s a nice space to study and/or work.

By the way, their waffles are good 🔥🔥

One of the best coffee shops in the state of Virginia. We do a lot of traveling and we go to coffee shops along the way. This one is differently highly recommended.

TLDR: good place to study and do work, mediocre matcha though

Vibes: 6/10 - playing video game lofi, industrial furniture so not very cozy, good selection of games (board games and 2 nice chess sets), and cute Pokémon plushies on the game shelf

Matcha latte: 2/10 - latte art was good, matcha quality was below average for people who drink Japanese ceremonial grade matcha on the regular, I liked the mug though

Milli is an awesome, go to spot for super good coffee and food. They have waffles and these crustless quiches that I love. The staff are super kind and down to earth and the place is comfy with plenty of seating and good light.

Really cool quiet place. Very friendly staff, and my coffee was perfect. We ordered a turkey panini, and it was delish. Plenty of space to stretch out with your electronics and take your time. Really nice outdoor seating as well.
