This is a great local coffee shop with a perfectly tailored wine selection. The owner is personable, kind, and will get to know you and remember you. When he's allowed, I'm sure he's itching to have live music back. They get some awesome people doing small regional tours and with eclectic styles. Save some delicious Honey Bunches for me!

The food is great: there are many vegetarian and vegan options that aren't bland. It's a bit pricey, though. The atmosphere is unique- sophisticated and yet family friendly. I love being able to enjoy my coffee while my toddler plays in the play area.

It's spacious and well lit, the sandwiches are decent, the coffee isn't great. there's a giant turtle in the kids area, and there is a grownups only-no kids area... Like I said, spacious. Good for studying, meeting up with people. Nice place.

Love this place. Really cool atmosphere here. They have an open section with a few toys and things for kids to play with and a wooden turtle for them to climb on. Then there's a section for adults where you can study or read or just talk without children running around if you prefer. The food is always great and the employees have a good attitude.

The food was pretty good (Berry Turkey sandwich). Cost was a bit high ($11.70 or so for the sandwich). Nearly $19 with a mocha after tax. Good, but the price is high for a quick lunch.

Great spot to have a coffee and a sandwich while get some work done! The quiet ambiance was exactly what I needed 😊

I would avoid this place all you can. This isn’t meant to be directed towards the staff, but whoever manages this shop. They clearly have not had proper training to run a Sunday morning shift as they were clearly new and uninformed with how the shop runs. We were not greeted by the two baristas after 10 mins of standing at the register. After seeing multiple customers become frustrated with wait time and being asked to pay twice, we should have left- that and the fact that a coffee shop has so many other items, you know the coffee wont actually be good.
Iced latte took 20 mins, had hot steamed milk on it so the ice melted the whole drink, and was burnt completely with grounds in it for $6. The employee was new, so this is entirely a management problem with how they operate. Other employees were forgetting customers foods, switching orders up. Please train your employees and be present at the store during a Halloween Sunday morning when it will definitely be busy. Management non existent, awful experience

My favourite coffee place in Cville. It’s a lot more chill than the hustle and bustle of other coffee shops, with more space and less invasive music in the background. I really like their lozza mozza sandwich, delicious!

A wonderful venue for live music in an intimate setting. Didn't try the coffee but plenty of people were slurping it down. Good sandwiches. Very friendly folks. And they book terrific acts, especially if you are into bluegrass, folk, acoustic music, etc.

The owner who rung me up was super kind and was happy to discuss his wine selection while he made my drink. Now I'm hooked on the 99 cent "Honey Bunches" they serve!

Updated Review: I come here all the time for the sandwiches and the spacious indoor seating area! My favorites are the Berry Turkey sandwich with brie and cranberry, and the Olive Branch with feta and peppers. The coffee isn't quite up to the standard of Charlottesville's specialty coffee scene (uneven milk texture, over-extracted espresso), but the baristas/cashiers are always super friendly. The wine selection is great for such a small space, and this has been the only place in town I have found a great pinotage for under $20!
