Tiny little shop, nice outdoor sitting area. Very good espresso. The seasonal syrup was spicy ginger so I added it to my iced latte. Very good.

Probably the best coffee in Charlottesville. The espresso (both the individual shot and the Americano) are my favorite in the area. Not too bitter, not overly acidic, just a genuinely good flavor. The matcha is also really food, very creamy and just all around pleasant. I really appreciate how they use local artists' works as decoration (they're for sale!). There isn't much space inside, just a little coffee bar with a few seats, so don't necessarily plan on staying there but if you can, its really nice! Parking is out back.

Went here on 2 Feb around 11 am, and had a triple shot of espresso and a slice of banana nut bread. The espresso was good, the nut bread seemed fresh, and the baristas were nice. Have had nothing but good experiences here since 2016.

Fun shop. Everyone is smiling, staff and patrons. Good drinks and snacks. Just wish they could miniaturize that espresso machine, which takes up so much of the counter and dominates the space.

Good coffee and breakfast biscuits. Only a few stools to sit inside, but nice outdoor seating area.

Quaint and slightly tucked away coffee shop with counter seating and friendly service.

As a Seattle native in perpetual search of a decent coffee experience out east, I believe Atlas Coffee is the best you’ll find in Charlottesville. The friendly staff and atmosphere are the icing but the above average coffee is the cake. For perspective, compared to the average neighborhood coffee shop in Seattle, I’d rate it three or four stars. Compared to anyplace else in central Virginia, five stars, easy.

Tiny little spot with bar seating and one other table inside. Friendly owners and they are wise to get baked goods from ABC and tacos from Brazos. Several outdoor tables for warmer days. Wish they were open after 3pm and open on Sundays but that wish is purely selfish.

A fantastic little coffee shop! This is one of my favorite spots for a morning coffee. The coffee is delicious, as are the delicious baked goods offerings. The blueberry muffins and banana bread are a couple of my favorites. They also have great egg and cheese breakfast biscuits!
