Champloo Desserts

The staff was friendly. Of the 5 items we got 3 were "misses". The pumpkin spice shake tasted like medicine. The lychee smoothie tasted like vanilla ice cream. We watched as the frozen lemonade separated. However, the worst part was we watched an employee sit, have his break with his gloves on, then with the same gloves, dipped his hand into the cereal topping to make the breakfast rolled ice cream for another customer.

The food selection is amazing. A lot flavors for a lot of style of desserts! Plus, the desserts here are ace! I recommend their "Handcrafted Bubble Waffle Ice Cream"! Ice cream amd breakfast together in a hot and cold combo!.

Oh, and don't be fooled by their stylish design. This place is shockingly inexpensive! Amazing values on their food!

I got a Taro Boba with some peach bubbles.

If I could give some advice.

Have an actual Boba flavor list. The guy just kept saying they could make it but it wasn't actual Boba. Confusing but it was delicious. I would skip their bubbles next time just cuz they are larger than I'm used to

the ice cream was alright and tasty, but the staff was rude and kept glaring at us, maybe it's because my mom was wearing a hijab but i'm not sure, also the boba wasn't good, i feel so nauseous after drinking it and my mom feels the same way too. i don't recommend this place if you're a POC or if you want decent boba.

Really really terrible experience honestly. Customer service was awful. And the tea is just not worth it at all. Just tastes like overly sweetened milk with very very few boba. I have never felt that awkward in a long time but going into that store with the staff arguing non stop and 3 customers asking for a refund, I literally couldn’t get out of there fast enough..

I want to start by saying they are not ready for a lot of people to know about this place. A lot of people haven't caught on to Asian ice cream. But man this is what all ice cream should be like. My favorite is Breakfast ice cream if you like super sweet give that flavor a try all the flavors are good. You have to actually wait for them to make the ice cream for each person so it can be a wait but man its good.

Ordered through Doordash and was not impressed at all. I had the peach cobbler ice cream and my sister had the pink panther. Neither were as the website describe. Mine didn't have much taste at all. There was no whipped cream and no peach glaze on top. My sister's was supposed to have strawberries, strawberry syrup and whipped cream but it had D none of the above.

MAKE THE DRIVE TO SALEM. We arrive at about 7:47pm, there were four employees at this location. When we walked in, two of the four were sitting on the couch to the left, for lord knows how long, with all tables dirty, couldn’t be bothered to wipe down. We placed our order within about 2 minutes of walking in, we order four ice creams, 1st ice cream was ready at 8pm, at 8:12, we still had no other ice cream. Instead, they had made one and then got into a fight about how one of them was sitting on their phone instead of working and not helping, said guy not helping grabbed his drink and walked back to the back, didn’t come back until I came up to find out what’s going on. Meanwhile, the one other ice cream that had been made was sitting, melting, behind the counter. When I confronted them about it all I got was argument back about how that person can’t help and then out comes dude from the back telling me why he wouldn’t help. I don’t care, we pay for four ice creams, we receive one and tried to get handed a melted one after 20 minutes of waiting, got a refund and got out of there. I will never return to that location.

I was a huge fan of champloo in Salem and was so excited that one was going to be one near my new home but we were ultimately disappointed. The employee working tonight mentioned numerous times about hating her job there and just trying to get stuff out as fast as she could. We felt bad that she was alone with a crowd but all of our orders were wrong. Maybe they changed how they do it but for like the pink panther they would do vanilla ice cream and beat a strawberry into it to become strawberry ice cream and here they don’t do that they just give you vanilla or chocolate with your toppings. So I ended up paying like 8 bucks for just vanilla ice cream. I was super disappointed. I wish they made their original beautiful crafted ice creams every time but unfortunately due to the quality let down and the staff we aren’t going to be coming back :( I wouldn’t recommend

Hello! I am a returning customer now! Me and my mother love it here so much. There's usually good service and they're bathroom is clean! We love this place and try to get some Boba from here at least twice a month.
