What a hidden gem this is! Sorry that I missed Chef Gaus, but will be back next time in town! The gumbo was as good as I've ever had and the "Douille" Dog was outstanding!

Biscuit is a little dry. Scone was great.

Food here isn't bad. I like the way the café is set up with the out door seating options. They have a good selection of specialty teas and coffees. I had a BLT and it was good. The service was good and the food came out pretty quickly.

Turkey sausage biscuit was dry and flavorless, beignets were too greasy, and the lavender latte was too sweet.. I guess I should go again and try other things on the menu

Love this coffee shop! Their staff is always very friendly and the food is delicious. You cannot go wrong with a latte and sausage egg and cheese biscuit here!

Their build-your-own biscuit is exactly what I wanted before our hike. I got the turkey sausage with egg and my husband got the same thing with cheese. Every part of it was delicious. The biscuit wasn't too crumbly nor too hard, it was a great texture and flavor. The sausage was cooked perfectly.

Would not recommend if you’re going for just beignets. We read the reviews and we’re excited to get the beignets and unfortunately the dough did not taste like that rich, sweet taste we’re familiar. They use ALOT of powdered sugar to mask it, which didn’t help at all.

Severely let down based on the name. If you’ve been to New Orleans, avoid this place or expect more of an initiation French cafe (Le pain is 100x better IMO). Zero Cajun spices and the menu doesn’t resemble any restaurant in NOLA. The food was pretty bland as well (we tried about 6 main dishes and a breakfast sandwich). For record, I’m not from NOLA, but have been many times. Nice decor however.

Have always loved this place for beignets, iced coffees and lunch but I really love how they are doing their crawfish boils now with a sample sandwich and sides!

Everyone is always so kind. They have no problem making recommendations and if thats not the item for you- they are happy to help you find the item that is!! Plus the frozen Hot Toti in DELICIOUS!!!!!
