My hubby and I took a weekend away to escape to Vermont. We had a wonderful night camping and woke up hungry as a hippo. We drove to Mary’s cafe, and it was delish! We highly recommend the steak and eggs, the steak tasted fresh and tender. The service was great and the locals were out in full force. My hubby said the toilets were nice. The only downside is that it’s cash only, so I assumed they are money laundering (Ive watched Ozark!)

A little restaurant serving the neighborhood. The portions are just right and a very homey atmosphere. Bring cash, the don't accept cards.

We had exceptional service from our waitress and the food was some of the best food I've ever had. If you are in the area give them a try, it's well worth it and the price is very reasonable. They do only take cash or personal local checks so be prepared for that!

Went with a group of 5 and every person's order was DELICIOUS. It was hard to make a choice! Definitely ask for the pie of the day and if you're a meat-eater, order something like a burger or sausage; the quality of their meats is beat only by the quality of their service. Jolene took care of us each time we visited and made sure we had a lovely homecooked experience!

Sometimes a bit loud but that all dependent on the crowd

Great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Hadn't been here in years but it was just as good today as it was last time I was here. Thank you!

Had breakfast this morning at Mary's cafe in west Rutland. I like to come here occasionally. Place is small, yet cozy. You feel like you are eating at home. Sausage gravy over biscuits, corn beef hash, cup of coffee. Everything was wonderful. Prices were comparable to similar restaurant s. Fast friendly service. Eat at your pace. No rush. The way it is supposed to be. Highly recommended, If you want something different. And you like to take your time.
