Mary's Cafe

A staple of the community. Mary’s Cafe is one of the best breakfast spots in Vermont. A simple menu that is made with love. Very reasonable pricing. The Jerry Special with a side waffle is my happy place. Not a very big place so patience is required on the weekend like with many cafes in Vermont.

I love Mary's they always have great food, the customer service goes above and beyond for there customers, they all deserve a raise, keep up the great work it's appreciated more than you think

If there were 6 stars, I'd give them! Folks advise calling ahead for a reservation. We were lucky; there were open tables and bar seating when we arrived, but when we left, the place was packed with a line out the door.
Any wait would be worth it!!! Folks are very friendly, the service was top notch, and the food was great! My pancakes were far and away the best in the area beating other establishment's offerings like Jonny Boys and the Wheel by a mile. Half the price but quadruple the flavor and texture.

Mary's has been a staple in West Rutland for many many years. It is true home style cooking. It's like you're sitting in someone's home dining room. You are always greeted with a smile and the wait staff is quick and attentive. The food is always fantastic and plentiful. This place is always packed with locals and travelers alike. It's a real jem. We eat breakfast here often. It is highly recommended.

Great small town local place, friendly, fresh down home breakfast, I go out of my way to eat here, apple and blueberry pancakes are totally awesome. Stop here on my delivery routine, or when I am enroute to my House up in Milan NH.
