The Round Hearth Cafe and Market Place

I had a late breakfast here and it was delicious. My friend said her lunch sandwich was amazing.

The main room has a large round hearth in the center with seating all around. This would be a great place to hang out in the winter and on cold rainy days.

The whole place is also decorated with interesting "ski decor," all of which is for sale, so it's also a terrific place to shop for home and condo.

This lovely restaurant and shop were directly across the street from where we were staying. The mother and daughter team were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved the indoor fire circle.
I had a latte with oatmilk and it was delicious! They also offer gluten free bread, so that their sandwiches can be served gluten free. Great find and fantastically warm atmosphere.

This place is awesome! Great food, great service and a super cool atmosphere. Can’t believe I’ve never checked out in all my travels to Stowe, definitely will be returning and highly recommend.

One of my favorite places in Stowe VT. My family and I go every time. It is a true staple to the town and the live indoor fire is just an example of that. Fantastic breakfast or quick lunch stop!

Super nice place to grab lunch. It was not crowded and the food was good. You can’t beat the ambience of the fire in the middle of the restaurant.

We attended the Stowe Basketry Festival. The owner organizes the retreat and makes it possible and contributes facilities and meals to make it happen. We had a great time and have taken classes and taught classes. They are so helpful and they make sure we have a good time.

If you’re looking for the perfect pancake breakfast with the best maple syrup in Stowe you must eat here! Cozy dining room area with lots of beautiful antiques and art pieces to check out too. We loved our experience!

Seriously the best sandwich I have ever eaten! – and my companion said the about his roast beef sandwich, and another customer was overheard saying the same about his burger. Ali and her parents have been running this place since the 80’s, with the whole family involved over the years. The place is homey and all about skiing, with a huge round fireplace and lots of rustic charm. Great crafts and antiques by local artisans for sale upstairs. Super family-friendly and comfortable, not to be missed.

Great service, pretty decent food, and they don’t post their prices for a reason.

I originally gave a bad review because I felt my cappuccino was more of a late and being pregnant and hormonal it made me unreasonably angry. Determined by the owners response I decided to change my review. The owner seems to truly care about her customers. It’s a very cute place and worth checking out just for the beautiful fire pit and kind service.
