Wally's Place - Bagel and Deli

First and last time I'll visit. It was not busy, but we waited 20 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches. Neither bagel was toasted as requested so they were soggy. One sandwich was incorrect. Also witnessed two women wait for 30 minutes before ask the staff about their order and leaving. And the bagels really aren't that great.

Put that ketchup away, you'll not be needing it here! The food is fresh and delicious. The quality of the bagels and bread are top notch. The atmosphere has a rustic, cozy feel. They have locally sourced beverages to compliment the local and fresh foods. Highly recommend a trip out to try 'em.

Yummy. Had one of their Ginger Snap cookie and it was so good I bought more when I found them again at the local farmers market. I will be going back and next time I will buy bread!

My only complaint was it was so hot in there!! It was a really hot day, I expected it to be a lil cooler inside but it wasn't. it was jst as hot and even more stuffy then it was outside.

No prices for anything posted anywhere. How does a business function like this? I won't patronize a business that can't even make the effort to tell you how much their products cost. Is a sandwich $3 or $18? Who knows; the person taking your order doesn't know either, you have to ask the cashier at the end of the line. Guess you'll find out when it's time to pay, then you'll pay whatever they tell you.

Spent a few days in Grand Isle and went to Wally's every morning for breakfast. As a lifelong resident of NJ, meaning I've been judging bagels all of my life... This place has great bagels. Even better they had pork roll (even if they called it Taylor Ham!) . Saw another recent review that this seemed to be an overpriced tourist trap and I did not get that vibe at all. Super friendly staff and good service.

Excellent bagels. A little busy on weekends. Try the everything bagel with Montreal smoked meat?! It's to die for. Wait, on second thought. Don't try it...that last one is mine!
