I don’t like to give such a poor rating for a coffee and deli place, but we were so excited for this place, given the reviews and recommendations. We came from across country and out of state, specifically for Manchester and their niche cafes.
We were sorely disappointed as the place was completely packed (which is usually a wonderful sign for a popular place), but by the time we got to the woman taking our order she was in no mood to deal with life itself!
Her attitude was sickening. It’s forgivable, as we have all had our bad days in customer service and we don’t know what we’re going through.
Yet as we are patiently waiting, she finally lets me know that they are out of my sandwich and I have to pick something else. I try to pick something else… and she says she’s out of it. I continue down the list of other options. Every time I say something she rudely says “we are out!” in a very condescending way.
Mind you… this is in front of a whole line of people and I haven’t had a chance to even think of anything else!
I finally get rushed into an option. They eventually call our name. The food was absolutely disgusting. It sat for a good 15 min before we even got it. My soup was cold and the sandwich had nothing on it. And for over 10$ NOTHING! What a joke. I could have made canned soup better than this and gone to a gas station for a better sandwich. We would have had better service.
Thank you Manchester

I stumbled upon this wonderful coffee house with my 6-lb. Pup and I was so very happy I could bring him inside. I had the most delicious ham and Swiss with lettuce and avocado on the freshest marble rye and a large peanut butter cookie for dessert. I am addicted now! But I live 3.5 hours away so I’m devastated! I would move to Manchester, Vermont for this place! Thank you Charlie’s Coffee House for such a wonderful experience!

This is a nice little spot. The food is great, there's plenty of space, and convenient parking. The only caveat is how long the wait is to order and receive the food. I've also experienced some mix-ups and forgotten items with some of my orders. It seems that the staff is often distracted. Otherwise, if you're willing to be patient, the place is great for a bite with some friends.

Very quiet and quaint coffee shop in town; great spot to sit down and have a cup of coffee before heading out to ski. Several tables and a generous selections of pastries and sweets! Check it out!

DOGS ALLOWED 🐕. Great customer service, prices are reasonable, and the sandwiches were delicious. Will definitely be back soon!.

Extremely rude front counter service. Customers never spoke up, but would talk amongst themselves at how annoyed the woman was. She continued to be rude as people waited for their orders. Names were supposed to be called but just left on a shelf as people stared at them. Orders took 30 to 40 minutes for typical amounts of $40 to $60. It made for a very hectic experience.

Cute cafe, clean, nice environment. Horrid iced coffee and extremely snotty customer service. Don’t breathe the wrong way.

The best Minestrone soup I've ever had! Just the right amount of noodle & bean.

Dog-friendly shop that we ate breakfast at multiple times. Good breakfast sandwiches. Good coffee.
Would certainly recommend.
