They have a variety of soups and salads and wraps and serve breakfast all day. They even have low sugar ice cream. And their molasses cookies are awesome!

My wife and I were about to set off on an exploration of Vermont towns when we decided to get a snack for the road. Charlie's coffee house, located on Bonnet Street in Manchester is a cozy little coffee shop where you can sit in a friendly environment and enjoy coffee and conversation. Some patrons were busy at work on their computers. I was busy consuming the best Morning Glory muffin I've ever had. The coffee was great, too. All that and a croissant for under $10. I'm looking forward to going back.

The cold-brew coffee was pretty good, as was the hot chocolate. The building is really cool too, with a lot of old hand-hewn wood beams.

Spiral Press closed, moved from their former host, the fantastic Northshire Bookstore, and now persists incarnated as the newly opened "Charlie's Coffee House" in the owners beautifully renovated building with their own, small parking lot.15 min. limit time in spaces close to the entrance! (Nov. 2018) The large beamed, slate roofed structure used to host the town's Chamber of Commerce. I've posted some pictures of the insides and out, including the current hours and a little of their menu. Former Spiral Press patrons can transfer their rewards card(s). I hope they'll post how much their eatables cost, soon. Very nice dining area. Free wifi. Looking forward to trying their intermittent soups which switch places with their mac'n'cheese. There are pre-prepared cold sandwiches and salad plates ready to go from a cooler. Coffees, cookies and pastries. Looking forward to trying their sliced and stuffed almond croissant.

Good coffee but the person taking our order was the rudish person I met so far in Manchester. Very disappointed.

Nice place to stop for coffee & to get out of the cold while exploring Vermont. No comfy chairs or couches but lovely staff!

Stopped by for an afternoon coffee and bought a cookie. Both were delicious, atmosphere was very laid back, service friendly and no waiting.

Went in the coffee shop and the waitress gave me an attitude and it took almost 30 minutes to get an egg sandwich. Very disappointed in their service!
