Great place for great coffee! They really are specialised in coffee, so you'll have great advices and as great coffee!

Very good coffee (and hot chocolate!) and knowledgeable baristas

To call this place a coffee shop is to sell it tremendously short of what it actually is: an Elixir of Life Dispensary. I frequented this establishment multiple times a day whilst living in Burlington. The outrageously attractive and charismatic staff are not only excellent conversationalists and joke tellers, but also experts at their craft. Sourcing only the finest coffees from the ends of the earth, it seems these baristas/artists will stop at nothing to ensure that every drop of perfection that is associated with their name is equivalent to nectar of the gods.

Ever since moving away from Burlington I've felt that a large part of my soul has been ripped out and left at 126 College Street. I am planning a pilgrimage later this year to retrieve it.

A gem. More than just another high-end cafe, which are too often cold and cookie-cutter, Onyx excels at the best aspects you want in a friendly neighborhood locale: exceptional drinks, authentic staff, and a beautiful granite bar where regulars can congregate and gab away leisurely amongst themselves and with the staff. Additionally, the excellent wifi makes it a great place to plop down and do some work. Highly recommended.

If you're a hipster and you have a few hours in downtown Burlington, this place is a must visit. The coffee is delicious (according to my friend, I don't actually drink coffee) and they have a lot of tasty treats. The only reason it's not a 5/5 is because it's pretty pricey.

The barista recommended her favorite hand poured coffee in stock, an Ethiopian with notes of blueberry, citrus, and black tea. It was delicious! Trifecta of a great shop: quality coffee, knowledgeable staff, and excellent service.

It was described to me as a coffee shop for baristas and coffee aficionados. It's definitely not a starbucks, so don't expect super syrup frappe drinks. The staff was pretty cool walking me through the beans they had and what the flavor profile of each was like depending on how you took it (espresso, cappuccino, or filter).

Maple Latte was out of this world. Also this has got to be the coolest name for a coffee shop I've seen.

A fabulous gem of a coffee spot in Burlington, VT! I honestly don't know what's better - the coffee, the people who make it, or the vibe you get as soon as you walk in. LOVE everything about it!!!

Blew me away. I have run coffee businesses and let me tell you this one is top notch. Baristas are excellent my espresso was pulled perfectly. My capp was served 6 oz perfect espresso milk foam balance free poured (as it should be) with a beautiful tripple heart on top. A little pretentious but when your producing coffee of this quality you have the right to be.
