The Rock Garden Eatery and Bar

Do not order the nachos, they were the worst nachos I ever had with only warm cheese that was harden and just clump all chips together.

Fish with elmo butter was delicious. Rice was really bad it was like rice mush.

Ribs needed more sauce and flavor but were tender.

Cobb salad was good but the egg whites were super overcooked.

We ordered take out an half of the side orders were missing but they did quickly fix it when we went to back.

The food was super good. I had the Monte Cristo for breakfast and it was delicious. They were not offering table service but the employee on staff (Buck) went out of his way to take care of us. Super friendly.

Fast and efficient service. My two children and I had a great experience eating at the Rock Garden, while we stayed at the Red Sand Hotel. The stir fry was "amazing" and the mac n cheese was some of the best my kids have had. The pricing is comparable to other restaurants in Torrey. For an alternative dining experience, the Rock Garden is recommended.

Been waiting over 75 minutes for a burger. A burger. Yikes.

Update. 85 minutes. Still no burger. Slowest service ever. Literally five patrons here. Nothing else is open in town. Not impressed at all.

The burger must have been on the grill the whole 90 minutes it took to come out. And the fries were burned on the outside and raw in the middle. I’m regretting coming here. The gas station burrito across the street would have been better. And I am so easy to impress with food. This place also had watered down drinks.

The positive reviews must be because they offer a 25% discount for a positive review. Don’t eat here. Try the Texaco across the street. It is better.

Wowza! That was some good food! We went there and service was excellent and I mean EXCELLENT! This is a beautiful and they cook beautiful food. Also the server gave us 50%!!!! Off of our orders! Why? Because he was awesome, that’s why. And it was a Christmas present. Again the food was amazing and worth the price but the service was even better! Make sure to tip them well!

Joe had the best magic tricks in all the land! Food was delicious. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends.

The food was excellent. Bartender and the manager very friendly. They entertained us with magic tricks while waiting for food.

This little place is adorable, clean and cute, with fresh and modern decor. Friendly prompt service and the food and drinks came out quickly. Veggies in our Caprese Platter and Cobb Salad were fresh and tasty. We enjoyed our dinner and you will, too.

I highly recommend the Rock Garden if you are in Torrey. The food was very flavorful and delicious. I had the prime rib burger, cooked medium rare. It was thick, fresh and juicy. They have a full bar and dine in or take out. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Excellent dining experience and we didn’t even have to leave the hotel! Local beers on draft! We had the ribs and prime rib burger and they were amazing. And great service from Ariel, very warm and friendly! Will definitely be returning on our next visit.
