I dont really review cafes as I'm a local roaster, and feel like it would be biased to do so. That being said, there is only one other shop in UT ill send my customers to in slc as a recommendation. Three pines. I haven't been in personally, I always end up waiting in the car so we can park. But a few of the baristas here visit our cafe regularly and they are amazing folks that I have no reservations sending my customers in for.

The espressos i get (to go) are always on point, and I can tell they are really taking the time to serve perfectly executed drinks, and with amazing attitudes and smiles, my only gripe is that we can't get them to serve our bean as perfectly as all the other roasters that are lucky enough to be represented by this awesome cafe. Keep up the work team, and don't forget to swing by for a coffee next time you are in o-town. You know who we are! ;)

I really enjoyed this place mostly for it's simplicity and minimalism. I appreciated how un-complicated their menu was. It allowed me to order and appreciate the coffee and the brewing process. The guy who provided recommendations was very knowledgeable and helped choose a great espresso to try. I wouldn't plan on settling down for a long stretch here though. Seating was very much geared towards quick turnarounds. Overall a fantastic spot to grab some coffee and sit for a few minutes.

Really tasty coffee. Amongst the best in the state. Simple place, but 6/5 quality đź‘Ś

They mean gourmet! These guys might have the drip coffee and highest quality beans in town. Small shop nestled in downtown SLC with limited seating but great views.

Cute little coffee shop in downtown SLC. For some reason, my cappuccino tasted sour...is this normal???

Very limited options. No coffee flavors other than vanilla. No sweeteners except for cane sugar. If you are expecting a fancy coffee drink, avoid this place. Coffee was decent

Three pines is truly special. My husband and I had the pleasure to enjoy their coffee in espresso, cortado and cold-brew form while on vacation in slc this past week. The staff was super nice and dang do they know how to make coffee. They measure their grind and single source their beans which are then freshly roasted and also for sale. My husband and I travel for work and it’s hard to find a decent cup of coffee even in large cities. Slc, you’re so lucky to have these guys in your backyard!

Super great third wave coffee in Salt Lake City. Will definitely be back for sure.

Loved this small independent business in the heart of Salt Lake City. I sat there quite a while listening to the owner (he is the smiley guy in my pictures) and his employee interact with their customers. Most were regulars. You could hear they had high expectations for their order. I wanted to try something different so I ordered a Marcha - pictured with my review. The first sip confused my taste buds. “Hey this isn’t coffee!!” They shouted out. As I finished the drink my taste buds agreed we had a new experience and it was pretty good will I go back for another cup? You betcha!!

The coffee is decent. Service is good and I have seating inside and outside. Sometimes there is a wait .It is somewhat small inside.
