Love this place. Locally owned and they have many single origin coffee beans that you can get made into your favorite caffeinated beverage, or taken to go as whole beans or ground in your style of choice. My favorite is their Ethiopia Natural, but strong marks for the El Salvador, which I have right now!

Great coffee with equally great atmosphere. Love the upstairs loft that over looks the main lobby. I enjoyed their iced Americano with a chocolate croissant as well. Great tea selection as well.

The coffee is the beat in Utah. It's a great place to study and chill or do work. The regulars are friendly and great conversationalists. The baristas are by far the nicest people I've met and are fast and friendly. The owner always makes sure that you are enjoying yourself and takes great pride in his coffee, vintage coffee roaster and his establishment.

Something about their pastries and vegan options, and their amazing mochas (I can’t get out of there without ordering 2) makes for a lovely experience. I think the atmosphere is pretty great, too, with big windows and friendly baristas.

Large selection of high quality roasts for a delicious cup of fresh made coffee. The owner made our day (or whole road trip from Seattle to San Diego), opening and making us fresh cups for the road before we realized they were actually closed on Sundays. Caffeinated us from Salt Lake City to Zion. Thank you so much,SLCR!

Really great coffee and pastries. Friendly staff too! The only thing I didn’t love was the styrofoam cups - please switch to paper or compostable🌿

There are many great independent coffee shops downtown. This is not one of my favorites. The outdoor seating is right off of 400 South which makes it really loud. There may have been other outdoor seating, but this is the part I saw. The large iced coffee was not particularly "large" and I didn't find it very good. I would go a little further south to the Coffee Garden for a better overall experience. Staff is fine though, this is maybe just a personal choice.

Great vibe, good coffee, and plenty of seating. Didn’t try them, but the empanadas look amazing!

our car was next door at the body shop-we had to wait for hours. We were very happy to sit at Salt Lake Roasting Co. they have great selection of Teas, an amazing hummus Bagel, a yummy peanut banana bagel, a chocolate chip loaf…….
