Love it! Super chill with a good atmosphere and good coffee. Perfect for studying or staying up late chatting with friends.

Great coffee shop with ample seating. It’s my go to spot while in Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake Coffee Break has a lot of available seating options with wifi that allow you to use a laptop or mobile device. The menu has many well-priced options, so there is something for everyone! The staff member that served us was very attentive and polite. I recommend stopping by this place if you get the chance. My wife and I will definitely come back sometime.

Awesome employees and atmosphere. Being able to go in and be comfortable while enjoying a nice cup of coffee is refreshing! I wnet there to meet up for a blind date and the atmosphere was perfect for that kind of situation for sure! Overall the best coffee house in Salt Lake City, BY FAR! Oh and there are amazing goodies to go with the amazing coffee! Good Job Coffee Break!

This is my favorite coffee shop. Most of the baristas are super friendly & always remember my order. They have a loyalty program, good food, and it's a great place to meet with friends, get some work/homework done, or just take some time out by myself! Thanks Coffee Break! My only beef is I wish they had drinks larger than 20 oz!

The atmosphere here is nice, although the building is a bit rundown. The bathrooms are a little sketchy (when they're open - they haven't been for quite some time) but I'm not sure there's much for that considering the location, unless the owner wanted to put in many hours on a daily basis.
The art is nice and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have many outlets which makes it a great place to work from.
There are a few other coffee shops in the area, but it seems like many are filled with upper class hipster types, whereas this place has always had a more diverse crowd. You get the college students, but you also get groups of middle eastern men playing cards at a table. There are plenty of customers and the place stays pretty busy.
The drinks are ok. The baristas have to be instructed to remake drinks for me from time to time, which is not a problem at any other coffee shop I go to. They're always happy to do it though, so it's just a small inconvenience if anything.
They serve food (mostly sandwiches), snacks, and some desserts that I can't get at other coffee shops (like Baklava).
I worked here close to ten years ago, and it's where I met my husband. This place will always hold a special place in my heart. The owner has never changed - he's a semi gruff middle eastern man, but he has a good heart and is someone I look forward to seeing when I go.
Overall, it's probably the best coffee shop for those looking for somewhere with plenty of seating or those working from a computer. It's not my favorite for coffee drinks, but that's personal preference. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Love coffee here, and the atmosphere is so unique. Staff here is also super friendly, I've never had an issue with them. Bathrooms are usually clean which is nice. There are lots of tables and comfy couches to sit on, outside seating area too. Only rated 4 stars because I'd love a bigger variety of desserts or pastries.

A nice little coffee shop. The staff did seem a bit overwhelmed with the rush of people that arrived around the same time, but still made a good cup of coffee. Definitely don't have a large enough parking area.
