Really good coffee! I have a sensitive stomach to strong coffee and this one has sat well with me. I love the Papua New Guinea roast in particular. It has a lot of the flavors that I enjoy and as a coffee it smells amazing before and added blending. The central 9th blend is also very smooth and delicious.

Great ambiance and customer service. Ordered a speciality drink and it was good, might have been a little sweet for me, as it over powered the espresso.
I wasn’t expecting an eclectic warehouse conversion, but they did well and upstairs has great mountain views.
Looked like they could use more outlets or comfy chairs, but maybe better not so people don’t camp out all day. Hah!

The coffee here is AMAZING!!! The workers here are so awesome and the environment is a great place to be in. (Can’t go wrong with an iced white mocha)

We had a wedding celebration here, and the space was wonderful. Would give 5 stars if it was only about the space. We were able to bring in lights, flowers, etc, and it was so cozy and wonderful!
Utah Venue Market is the third party that arranges everything, however. They were incredibly disorganized and frazzled. Their contract was full of typos, pricing was different on every page, and our organizer forgot about two meetings with us leading up to our event. The week prior to our event, she called me asking to confirm some details, and we had reviewed all of this the week prior. I would love to have another event at Publik, but the team organizing the space was incredibly difficult to work with.

Great place to get a coffee. Every coffee product I've had from Publik is great. I especially love their Nitro Cold Brew coffee.
It's a great place to come and hang out. The music in the background is just loud enough to be heard but doesn't get in the way of having a conversation or working.

Really nice space and I absolutely love that they are solar powered! So I came in here really wanting to love it. Sadly was quite disappointed in their coffee and ability to make a decent espresso drink with soy milk. It came out all gloppy on top and gave the coffee an acrid taste.
This is not because of the soy milk, it's because either the barista doesn't know how to handle plant milks (they do handle differently than dairy milk), or the soy milk is bad. I've had many, many delicious plant milk espresso drinks before when the barista knows what they're doing. They should try getting Oatly or many of the numerous barista edition plant based milks, which produces exactly the same results as dairy milk. When I'm paying $4 for a cortado, with a soy milk upcharge, at least it should be good!
I was quite surprised considering they have a sustainable mission. Plant milks are so much more sustainable than dairy milks! Ditto to their menu, which had no vegan options besides an overpriced avocado toast. Meh.
Icing on the cake was the unusable WiFi. Maybe because there were so many ppl there on their laptops, but it was basically useless.
Again, really sad because I wanted to love this place. But I can't recommend it to anyone that wants espresso drinks with alt milks.

A favorite spot in SLC! Not only are the coffee and eats wonderful, the staff and space are super cool. Whether you’re in need of a quick fix or a place to read or work for half a day, Publik is a must-visit!

Publik is always great! The staff is really friendly, service is fast, and the place is always clean. It's a great spot to stop for a cup of coffee with a friend, or to post up and get some work done. It's usually fairly busy, but the noise level is low despite that. Great spot!

Ok, the coffee was great, but....
I specifically went there to grab a bag of decaf coffee beans (they were for sale on their website). This is the roastery, so they have to have them here, right? Wrong! Maybe I was simply unlucky, but all they had was ONE single bag of coffee for sale (not decaf), which is quite disappointing for this being a roastery.
I did however order a cup of decaf and one regular coffee to stay. They tasted great, but don't go here if you are in a hurry! The barristas took their sweet old time. This is the opposite of fast food! It takes about 10 minutes for them to prepare one pour-over, maybe longer.
Atmosphere was nice, it has this warehouse vibe. It was quite full though. Again the experience was good and the barristas seemed nice enough. Just disappointed with the availability of coffee beans! I guess labour shortages are everywhere now!
I would like to come back here again.

One of the coolest atmospheres at a coffee shop that I’ve been to. The drinks and food were fantastic and it’s a great place to get work done.
