Cupla Coffee

Cute environment, nice staff, but a bit overrated.
☕️: the classic latte was too weak and hardly tasted like coffee. Too much milk.
🧋: the dirty chai was good, but not very spicy
🥐: the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich was yummy! Ham and cheese wasn’t as good, definitely go with the added egg. Croissants were fresh and flakey!

Highly recommend the hummus toast and they have one of the best vanilla lattes.

Recommended by the AC Marriot front desk, Cupla did not disappoint. The staff were friendly in their conversation. The only strange thing about this place is the books. There's a tiny bookshelf before you enter. In that bookshelf are a few too many philosophy books, and I found that to be suspicious and comforting. Unfortunately, the staff didn't know why they were there. And that was my exact feeling when I decided not to pursue philosophy as a career anymore.

What an awesome vibe! We were greeted by the most passionate and enthused barista. My wife and I ordered Flat Whites and she knew that because we were from Australia/New Zealand just how we would like it....and damn it was good. It ended up being the best Flat Whites we have had in the US. Decided to be a rebel and get a second coffee 🤙

If you are looking a coffee shop to make your Instagram followers envious of your posts, this is the place to be. If you want great coffee and food, any other coffee shop/cafe within walking distance is superior.

If I was to review the establishment on aesthetics and customer service, Cupla would easily be 5 stars. The service is stellar and untouchable, friendly and professional. The atmosphere is top notch. It’s in the basement of a building and there a small glass ceiling that allows you to see the street above. This is pretty awesome and makes the business worth visiting...once.

The espresso is fine, nothing wrong with it, it’s just forgettable . The lavender syrup was overpowering with the London fog. The food while presented beautifully and obviously fresh, it was bland. If I were to come back to this place, I would bring some salt and pepper.

I would recommend other people to visit business at least once for exceptional service and atmosphere, I would also quickly recommend other places that are within walking distance that have better food and/or coffee such as the Rose Establishment, Eva’s Bakery, and Three Pine Coffee.

The selection of specialty drinks is one of the most unique I have seen at a coffee shop. I was a little hesitant walking into an office building to try Cupla, but once I ventured downstairs the space turned into a social oasis. The staff was extremely friendly, as were the guests, and as I gathered my latte, I hesitantly returned to my home office, because I was enjoying the experience. The espresso was well balanced and made a delightful latte. My next visit, I'll be bringing my laptop to soak in a little more of Cupla's ambiance while I complete a few tasks for work.

Great basement spot with natural skylights. I only had a muffin and not coffee, but it was DELICIOUS and they warmed it up for me. Lots of great seating options! Good downtown option for studying/reading or chatting with friends.

Incredible space. There's a huge seating area to read or work and generally enjoy your beverage. Coffee was excellent, and I will visit again.

One incredibly minor nit - they used some generic brand of oat milk instead of Oatly for their lattes so there's a bit of a taste difference. I'd still order again, but would recommend them to use Oatly for their drinks.

The best coffee shop around. The staff always greets you with a smile and cheerful hello. The coffee is good and the food is solid. I’ve never left without feeling great. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Lovely place, below street level which can make it hard to find, so look out for their signboard! Also, don't be misled by their sign, their menu includes more than vegan options - there are both dairy and non-dairy options available. Highly recommend their avocado toast - delish!!
