This place is over the top amazing! I just love it. I love it so much I almost want to move to Salt Lake City so this can be my "go to" coffee place. Everywhere I travel, I look for the local coffee roasters. I prefer the small batch, sustainably sourced (sometimes even certified organic) coffees, and this is what you find at Cupla. They make their own syrups (meaning no gross chemicals), they add essential oils (good ones by YL and Doterra) to some of their drinks. And they even use milk from a local farm, bonus. This may all sound "snooty" but I just try to be as healthy as I can while maintaining the pleasures of food and drink. The owner(s) (I met one of two) and the staff are super friendly and helpful, and make you feel appreciated. The space is adorable as well. It's in the "basement" of a cool building, and there is an open glass roof that lets in plenty of light. Most importantly perhaps, the coffee and the drinks are superb. We also ordered croissant sandwiches, which were top notch as well. Definitely (obviously) highly recommend and will hopefully find myself back in SLC and visiting again.

New location is really nice and big!

The best coffee and the nicest people in town. Seriously, stop by.

They also have a variety of delicious food for anyone... Super thoughtful and fantastic, vegan, keto options for those who need it.

I went today for the first time, Bethany was super friendly and I love that idea to reduce waste; they borrow you a fabric sleeve that you return the next time you come to the shop. The overall of the shop is clean and has a nice atmosphere, it is a shame they close so early and they are not open Sundays, as many other coffee shops in Downtown SLC. #smallthanks

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. More expensive than anywhere else in the valley, our coffee was awful, burnt not as ordered (how can you screw up drip coffee so badly?!) and they don't have a large size option (what would be a small or medium anywhere else was a large and 2x more expensive). Our breakfast sandwiches were insanely expensive as well and had raw eggs in them. Who makes a breakfast sandwich Sunnyside up? I am so upset by this place I can barely type. Never would I ever go here. Hopefully you don't either. Save yourself a trip and eat shoe leather. It is better than Cupla Coffee

This place is ah-mazing! The positive energy greets you as you walk in the door, along with the delicious smells of the coffee, tea & food! The baristas jamming out while they hustle to get everyone their goods is next to none!
And they welcomed in doTERRA convention goers with specials! 😍💜 Sad we didnt find it sooner but excited that we know now! We will def be back!

Hidden gem in a basement, great coffee, food, and environment.

Happened upon this place by using Google Maps to search for local coffee shops, actually! I will definitely be back. They had everything I look for in a coffee shop — matcha (sweetened with stevia!), good espresso, and a kind barista. Their food options looked good and healthy, though I didn’t try anything my first go round.
