Took my mom their for her birthday. Ordered croque monsieur and the spanakopita, then did the chocolate fondue night. Didn't take pictures because I was lost in conversation in the ambience comparable to a French cafe. Wonderful service provided by Ruth. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the building, and was able to answer questions about all the chocolate and the factory. The side salads were really good. The fondue ingredients were made in house or really fresh produce--so much better than The Melting Pot in Salt Lake. Made me wish I had given the cheese fondue a chance. Really want to come back. The only thing I might do differently if I were to do it again is order the third sandwich to share in order to fill out the dinner a little more even though the chocolate was very filling.

If you like chocolate and trying new things, this is a great place for you. It is specifically good for dark chocolates. There aren't exactly many "real" food options, but the focal point is the chocolate, not getting a meal. The staff were very amicable, too. I had a great time with the mini tasting.

I just got home from my first visit to Taste (afternoon tea with a dear friend). Everything about the experience was excellent! Kind staff, beautiful atmosphere, and gorgeous-looking food that all tasted superb! Even the smell of chocolate in the air was delightful. If you've got a friend you need to catch up with, or just need to spoil yourself, head to Taste for afternoon tea! (Another thing that impressed me -- my original reservation had been for the week prior, but I had a conflict come up the day of. I called in two hours before my reservation, not very hopeful that I could reschedule but figured I'd ask. They said rescheduling was no problem!) Thank you, Taste, for treating me like royalty!

They do a good job of putting integrity into their product. You can tell they love food and they love chocolate, and it comes through. And the prices are surprisingly good!
Their homemade milk chocolate is absolutely worth the price ($10 a bar) if you like chocolate. They sell more expensive imported ones, so it’s nice they keep the price down on their own.
Their desserts are great. Nowhere else around has fresh-made scones with mascarpone and strawberries. So good. Their brownie is rich and fresh. You have to try the sipping chocolate if you haven’t, at least once, it’s an experience. Iced chocolate is the perfect summer treat, and hot chocolate in the winter is the best around. One time I had a less fresh scone, but I’m writing it off as a fluke, because it was the only time of many.
I have not had their savory stuff (sandwiches and whatnot) so I can’t attest to that.
It’s the kind of place I pray stays in business for a long time.

The Tasting events are phenomenal! You are definitely investing in a unique experience, and it's worth every penny. There aren't many places where you can have such an opportunity to taste such a variety of chocolates, cheese, balsamic vinegars, alcohol-free wine, and more is quite this way. The atmosphere is fantastic, and we've been back several times, including gifting Tasting events to family members for special occasions.
My wife's absolute favorite treat is the European Sipping Cocoa. It's very different from traditional Stephens or other cocoa off the shelf at a supermarket, but in a very good way. The portion size seems really small, but it's actually quite rich and filling. Definitely worth a try.
We LOVE Taste. It's absolutely worth a visit.

Such a fun and unique experience. We have done the chocolate and vinegar tasting and the fondue. Both were delicious. The tasting was not only delicious but educational. True food artisans work at Taste.

The first time I went to Taste was with a friend for a birthday tea party and it's safe to say my life has never been the same. The scones are SO good, and I bought my own French press just to have the tea at home. I've taken plenty of other friends back since then, and love their quality and flavor. It's incredible.

Fun, educational, interesting, great staff and delicious chocolate. We did a mini tasting with our family, including 4 children 10yr-12yr, and a factory tour. It was a great experience, but expensive for what you got (45 min $12/person). Also, we happened to be there at 2pm on a Wed., just as a school of loud young children were doing a tasting which made it very difficult for us to hear our presenter, which took away from the experience, so maybe make sure you don’t overlap a group like that when you go. We had made arrangements in advance, I wish they would have let us know and we could have adjusted our schedule. It was a fun experience however and I’m glad we tried it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little hidden gem. A friend told me about it after we had dinner up the road so we walked over right as they were about to close up. I ordered the Tahitian Vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of cherry balsamic and lemon olive oil topped with fresh strawberries. Don't be fooled, it's so much better than it even sounds! The ice cream itself is ridiculously smooth and creamy, like the creamiest I think I've ever had! And the lemon oil was so much more incredible than I could have anticipated!! I was sad to see it was empty on a Friday night then realized we got there at closing. The interior is soooo adorable! I am in love with the style and decor. They serve everything with real silver spoons too! I definitely have to come back and try the chocolate bars. I tried a sip of the Frozen chocolate my friend got and it was very yummy and chocolaty! Definitely recommend this place for dessert!! They do afternoon tea as well! Love it so much!!

I’ve come here for a chocolate tasting as well as afternoon tea. Both were delightful experiences and the ambiance here is perfect for a chocolate shop. We loved the tasty sandwiches and treats that were served at tea time. My only complaint is that they didn’t have a very good tea selection. I was greatly disappointed because I love quality tea and expected to have some during our afternoon tea. I would highly recommend that they add more varieties of tea to their menu. It was the only thing that made this experience less than amazing.
