I ordered two chocolate items from here. A brownie and some chocolate cake. Both items had coffee or mocha in them.. Yuck! Just FYI to the owner, most people in Utah county are LDS and do not like coffee or mocha. It ruined both items for me. I won't be back.

Really tasty and stylish place. It just took forever. There was only one poor girl taking orders and waiting on people.

I asked the good folks at Taste to help me surprise my wife with some chocolates while on a business trip and they were super helpful, it was like working with friends.
A local shop with friendly, helpful folks AND great chocolate is a rare gem, I really couldn't thank them enough for their flexibility and friendly service. Wish I could give more stars.

We had been to several events at Taste, finding them all a memorable experience...so Afternoon Tea seemed like a perfect idea for our party of five. Unfortunately, this dining experience missed the mark. Service was slow and clunky, with items forgotten and brought out late. The savory treats were okay, but the sweet items were blah. Sorry Taste...this experience was not great. I would recommend skipping the tea experience and just sampling the chocolate drinks. They were yummy.

Wonderful! This fulfilled everything! I felt like I was in Paris again! The service was lovely! We arrived earlier than our reservation. They were so accommodating to seat us! Friendly staff! We felt spoiled! Ambience, music, sipping chocolate and food! Definitely will book an afternoon tea againš

Did the chocolate tasting and then stayed for mocktails. Mind blown. Life changing experience. Both fun and magical. Perfect for my double date.

I was missing tea time like I have experienced in the UK and this cafe does it nicely. āŗ Such fresh ingredients!! I also did the taste testing experience of their chocolates while my husband got a glorious sandwich. We are definitely coming back to try more items from the menu. The interior design is classy and makes for a cute date idea or to just come alone and chill with a pot of tea. Lovely place! P.S. my husband and I came in around 2:30 pm with very few people there so service was easy to get.

I went to Taste tonight for the first time with my wife and kids for a family night dessert. I was so impressed that I had to leave a review.
First, I wish I had known sooner that Taste offers more than just tastings. I didn't know that they also have a food and dessert menu for walk-in customers. We'd already eaten dinner, but the food looked good (it was mostly French sandwiches). We did have two desserts and a sipping chocolate.
The molten cake was rich, the ice cream was refreshing, and the sipping chocolate was like nothing I've ever had (in a good way). Whoever planned these dishes thought carefully about all the aspects of a good dessert: portion size, quality ingredients, layering unique flavors, and presentation. Everything about the experience was well-crafted.
The atmosphere is also worth mentioning. The design details accentuate both the quality of the food and the historic setting. Provo's downtown is richer because of Tasteāit's not a soulless chain shop, and the attention to quality is amazing. I wish all businesses were as thoughtful in the design of their food, atmosphere, and overall experience. I'll be returning to Taste again. This is just the kind of business that makes Provo unique, and exactly the kind of business I like to support.

What a fun, beautiful place! I stopped by with my kids on a hot day and got the Cacao Colada which was truly one of the best drinks I've ever had! I loved the atmosphere! It looked like they had some really fun dining experiences like tea time which had a sampling of sandwiches, breads and desserts. I look forward to returning!
UPDATE: I went back and tried the iced chocolate as well as the turkey and prosciutto sandwich and they were both delicious. Highly recommended!

Didnāt have enough staff on hand to do the āmini tasting experienceā (we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night) so got the To-Go mini tasting. Wow, $18 for two ridiculously small amounts of chocolateāwith a card that had no backgrounds or interesting facts about the chocolate. Iām sure their other stuff is good, but overall a very poor experience.
