Cute place, but not for eating. I came for breakfast, but got a soggy croissant sandwich thanks to a very wet tomato slice. Coffee was decent, but they don't put cream out for customers. Also they should pay their workers more so they can at least fake enthusiasm for the place they work. Maybe people come for their 12 pack cinnamon rolls? I don't get the hype.

This place has amazing rasberry rolls. However the wait time is not worth it. The guy who had taken my order gave the 3 people after me their order before I let him know I was still waiting on my order. It took 30 minutes and I definitely left upset he didn't take the time to look up and ask If I had been helped. Not sure how I feel about going back and giving this place my business.

I stopped by after work to try a cinnamon roll that some people were raving about. I got a pack of raspberry and lemon. I was sad to not see many available choices with cream cheese frosting. The lemon ones were super good (although would have been better with cream cheese frosting instead of vanilla) and the raspberry were okay, but way too sweet. I'd like to come back and try regular cinnamon with cream cheese frosting. The food looked good. The person at the counter wasn't incredibly helpful. There wasn't a warm greeting or much helpfulness even with saying I'd never been here before. There were lots of options of sweet rolls, butter rolls, pastries, etc and it would have been nice to have someone explain the differences between all of the different rolls and pastries. The elephant ears looked interesting and fun. I'd love to see lemon available in the variety pack so that it's easier to try each of the available flavors.
I plan to come back and try it one more time and see if the employees are a little more welcoming and friendly. The sandwiches also looked tasty.

Called to place a lunch order and was told we had to place an order 24 hours in advance??? That is the most bizarre policy? I even probed to make sure that wasn't just for catering but she said it was for a lunch orders too like if we wanted to order a sandwich. It also wouldn't let us order online.

Homemade orange rolls and dinner rolls for our daughter’s wedding luncheon were the best we’ve ever tasted!! Excellent in every way! Thank you Shirley’s bakery!

I absolutely love their food, especially their desserts! I went in to buy some Brownies and they were sold out. Granted, it was a BYU home game and the game was just about to end. I would think that knowing it was a Home game that people would stop by to grab something after they would prepare for it. I was a little disappointed but was able to find something else to curb my sweet tooth craving. Overall this is a must stop if you are in the area.

Got 2 Breakfast sandwiches. 1 had, not kidding, a 1 inch thick egg casserole slab slapped on it. Maybe twice the size of the sausage patty. If you cannot cook eggs fresh, please don’t offer a breakfast sandwich. It takes 4 mins to cook eggs on a hot top. If you have to charge more for fresh eggs.

I wish they had these in Salt Lake County. I drive down here for their sweet rolls and have to take orders for everyone in my office. Love this place. Please come North!!

Pro’s
- Clean and inviting interior that reminds me of a upscale gift shop
- Great selection of rolls and bread
- Prices are reasonable
Con’s
- The staff is NOT friendly and helpful. They stand behind the cash register until you request their help
- The taste of their pastries in particular the walnut twist was dry and stale
- They do not offer doughnuts as you would expect with a bakery

Update - I was contacted today and we got everything resolved. They apologized and I feel taken care of. Thanks Shirley's!
We've been going to Shirley's for years. Typically we have great experiences, but this last year it's been different. Customer service is terrible and their products have started to decline. In the picture below are the examples of rolls my mother recently purchased from Shirley's. The ones on the left were delicious. The ones on the right, are burnt, flat, and dried out. I tried to reach out on Facebook messenger and no response. So now we're stuck with a few dozens yucky rolls. Too bad, because they were expensive
