Review of JJ Coffee Co

JJ Coffee Co is a cozy coffee shop located at 570 E Pk Ave in Orem, Utah. With its warm and inviting atmosphere, it's the perfect place to start your day or take a break from the hustle and bustle of life.

The shop opens early at 7:00 AM on weekdays and 8:00 AM on weekends, allowing early birds to enjoy their morning cup of joe. The shop closes at 5:00 PM every day, giving you plenty of time to swing by for an afternoon pick-me-up.

One of the standout features of JJ Coffee Co is its commitment to providing a peaceful environment. According to one customer review, the shop is usually quiet in the mornings, allowing you to take a moment for yourself, sit, breathe, and slow down. It's a rare find in today's busy world.

When it comes to the menu, JJ Coffee Co offers a variety of options to satisfy your caffeine cravings. They have a range of coffee choices, including house-made syrups and unique flavors. The orange blossom matcha is highly recommended by one satisfied customer, who claims it's the best matcha they've ever had.

However, it's important to note that the shop may not cater to everyone's dietary preferences. While they do offer oat milk and almond milk, some customers have mentioned the limited sugar-free and low-calorie options. Additionally, a few reviewers have found the food to be on the expensive side.

Despite these minor drawbacks, JJ Coffee Co is praised for its exceptional service. The baristas are described as super friendly, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for customers.

If you're looking for a great cup of coffee in a cozy setting, JJ Coffee Co is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this coffee shop offers a delightful experience that will leave you satisfied and ready to take on the day.

Beautiful facility, great ambiance, and delicious hot chocolate. The children loved it and enjoyed their LARGE scones, cinnamon rolls, and croissants. Their everything bagel with cream cheese and chives was also delicious.

The bean is nasty, but if you're into the typical coffee shop feel it has that.

They have such cute and creative TikToks! It came up on my FYP and makes me want to visit. 10/10 for social media. I’ll update this when I visit for the first time!

I have tried A LOT of coffee in my life, and to say this is the best I've tried would be an understatement. The staff are great, the owners, even better! They really care about their customers and the instagrammable aspect is just a bonus! The vanilla latte and the avocado toast make such a great pair. PLEASE please stop by for some of the best coffee in Utah.

Just found this place this week; we've already been twice. The various toasts are great, but the real star of the show is truly great 3rd wave coffee. Their beans are coming from Corvus Coffee in CO--I hadn't heard of them, but whatever JJ is using in their espresso is classic 3rd wave; sweet, bright, fruity, with balanced acidity and barely any bitterness. Both in an oat cortado and a plain espresso shot, the bright berry shines through with just a tiny hint of chocolate at the end. Also, they've got a gorgeous 3 group Slayer--the only one I've seen in the state. Absolutely stoked to have such a competent cafe down here in UT county!

I've made efforts to visit every coffee place claiming proper coffee. I don't want giant dessert drinks with lots of sugar, pumped flavors, and milk. This is the only one I've found, and it lives up to billing. Don't get me wrong, they can do the pumped, sweet ones too. Don't stay away if that's what you like.
It turns out that we ended up being their first customer. I was looking to see if any new coffee places had shown up to try. JJ was there. Who knew it was opening day.
Since then we've been back a number of times. Everyone is friendly. The owners are very nice people. They are really working to create a great space and excellent coffee. I split between getting a pour over, or their latte. The pastries are excellent. I recently got back from Paris, theirs match all but the best in Paris, but even then, they are close.
They are super dog friendly. They also make excellent topped toasts. There is avocado toast that is excellent as well as other toppings that are very good. Currently, I don't know of anyplace that can touch them.

The whipped hot honey toast was amazing. Worth going back just for that. The coffee was also good. I got the cold brew. The two girls that were working were very friendly and helpful. It was also a bonus that there was a nice place to sit outside on a warm day.

After weeks of anticipation we went for breakfast this morning and it totally lived up to my expectations! One of the problems I’ve found with lots of utah county coffee shops is that they treat coffee like a swig and just have a million super sugary drinks instead of high quality coffee. We got a hot mocha and a caramel cold brew and both were delicious without being overly sweet. I also love a coffee shop that has more than just pastries because I’m someone who needs a real breakfast. We got the avocado toast and ricotta pear toast - both were so good and filling! I feel like the price point was right on for high quality drinks and food. All the employees were super friendly. There’s ample parking close by and it’s right next to the big park/playground at the mall which was nice for having our two year old run around after. I wish we lived closer, but we’ll definitely be making the trip to come back often!
