Every week on Wednesdays we have our creative marketing meeting at 3 cups. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed and all the staff are friendly. I have never had a drink, food item or treat that I didn't like. Everything is prepared well and using good quality ingredients. If you haven't tried 3 Cups you need to.

3 Cups is so awesome I almost don't want others to know about it. The ambiance here is great for chilling, sipping on your drink, and reading a book or working on your laptop. The service is very friendly, and the design inside the shop is one of the best ones in SLC. This is the coffee shop I go to when I miss the San Diego coffee shops.

Hello Darling

With plenty of coffee shops to choose from close to me I’m more than happy to make the drive here because of the experience. 3 cups is an inviting, warm space with incredible made from scratch food and gelato. The avocado toast is divine and I haven’t had a beverage I didn’t crave again.

Went here with my mom. Got a veggie sandwich with baguette. The baguette wasn’t toasted, the veggies were sliced thick, unwashed and raw. The pickled veggies on the side smelled like they got pickled for decades. My mom got a roasted beet arugula. She immediately got pain in her stomach from eating it. I don’t recommend this place. They get orders wrong and their food isn’t good. I’m not sure if this is just when I was there but I didn’t get a good brunch that’s for sure.

Clean, bright and spacious... this is one of my favorite places to work. Their coffee is great and if you like cold brew, try their cold brew on nitro, it is fantastic. Pastries are spot on as well. Overall a great place to work and get coffee.

So lovely! I got a 12oz latte with whole milk and it was delicious. They have a light roast espresso bean (which is what I got), decaf espresso, and nitro cold brew. My drink came with a tiny free sugar and spice cookie! It was so good that I had to go back and try another of their baked goods, the Meyer Lemon Tea Cake. It was subtle and not too sweet, perfect with my latte.

It's also stunning inside - bright and modern, all grey scale.

Hey 3 cups: can you please make the old Blue Star Coffee on 2300 East a second location? I'd be there everyday!

This shop seems like a perfect coffee shop. It's nearly impossible to find an excellent coffee AND pastry shop. They get their beans from a local roasters downtown, and make their pasties IN HOUSE? Perfect win-win!

I hate to admit this because I'm genuinely afraid it'll mean that these will sell out faster, but their egg pastry/tart was possibly the BEST one I've had! It was absolutely perfect, after it was toasted. I'm a hard sell, too.

Looking forward to coming back! Wish it was closer to home.

I am new to the are. I went in for the first time over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see they offered a cortado on their menu. I had to try it right away. It was absolutely amazing and true to it's recipe! The texture was just right and the espresso had a magnificent rich flavor! The location is one that encourages passers-by to pop in to the various neighborhood shops. Their décor is clean and bright yet warm and intimate. Very friendly staff...this is now my new coffee joint!

Nice, modern place, some gluten-free options, seating in front of or rear of store, plenty of seating inside.
Drip coffee was very good but not excellent (strange, rather pungent aftertaste), oatmeal was tasty with nice texture (steel-cut oats I believe) and lots of berries on top, Parfait... well overpriced.

$8.50 is too much for a 16 ounce latte. I love the coffee here, the employees and the ambiance however the price changes depending on who rings me up. I budget to buy a coffee every morning and I mentioned to one of the owners that I've paid $8.50 a couple times for adding a shot to a drink. Adding a shot to any drink should be about a dollar. It's frustrating when the owner rings me up it's about $5.50 but others it's $8.50 including using my own cup! I'm struggling between not coming here on a daily basis anymore or never asking for an extra shot.
