8th St. Coffee House

This is prob my fav place to dine in WF. They pretty much have anything u can think for breakfast & lunch. Military discount. They have dairy alternatives (thank u!!). And the coffee\tea selection is, again, vast. I like the new location, glassed in, separate dining rooms (3 I believe) for small private meetings or dates or to corral the kids. 10\10 in my book.

Great atmosphere and amazing breakfast burritos!

I went for lunch and the set up at the new location is not good. There is a very small area at the front door and a line out the door. I actually saw several people bail out of the line due to the wait. There is no room and it takes forever to order. I ordered in and a girl basically did a drive by with no greeting and dropped the "to go" bag on our table. Not impressed.

I am pretty disappointed in my experience here. I have celiac so going out is risky for me but I do risk it occasionally. My mom loves this place and wanted to eat brunch here. I agreed after reviewing the menu as many items could be made away from gluten.

I asked the cashier if anything was gluten free and she started at me like I was speaking gibberish. So I simplified my question, I am interested in the breakfast scramble can it be made gluten free? Again met with a blank stare. So I try again, is the scramble cooked alongside bread on the grill? That was met with "yes, we toast our bread" by the cashier. So I again redirected as she didn't appear to understand what I was asking.

My next inquiry was do you have multiple smoothie machines? Again with the blank stare. Okay I tried again: are all the smoothies, including cookie ones, made in the same machine? That was finally met with a yes. So I walked away as my confidence in eating had diminished to zero.

I would have been more than happy to spend my money here if they had offered to cook my food in a clean pan, which is not that difficult and what every other restaurant I've inquired with has done.

On a good note my family says their food was all delicious. Wish I'd have been able to eat.

I love the atmosphere of this cafe it’s very cozy. I ordered the chia tea latte and Greek pita. I want to say that might have been the best Greek pita I’ve had! It’s was very flavorful I loved it. I didn’t like my drink as much but the customer service was very good I was offered I wanted another type of drink made or if I wanted to take something else.

Passing through on my way back to Denver and so glad this place was here! Not quite craft coffee but good none the less. Atmosphere and service is awesome! Food is simple and yummy with prices you can't beat. Outweighs any franchise BY FAR!!! Good gob Wichita Falls! Keep this one around for sure ;)

This place is awesome! From the food, to the decor, to the staff! My husband and I split the peanut butter and banana pancakes and the breakfast bacon avocado grilled cheese. I also had a green monster smoothie. We got there fairly close to opening so it wasn't​ super busy yet, but as we were finishing our meal, they had a pretty good line of folks. We will definitely be back soon!

Great atmosphere and food was delicious. We had the philly melt and the waffle sandwich. Of course frappes as well. It was crowded so we took a table to look at menus. Crowd cleared and we ordered.
They are often crowded because they are so GOOD but it never feels like it's crowded! Very comfortable.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. I’ve eaten here several times throughout my stays at Wichita Falls. I cannot recommend more. The sandwiches are fantastic and the soups are always delicious. I would highly suggest anything with the pretzel bun!

After being here for almost 2 years, I can say without a doubt that this is THE best place for breakfast. Best drink selection in the game, phenomenal sandwiches, and the staff are nothing short of saints.

It's become a weekend routine, and I can't think of a better way to start the day before hitting the farmers market just 1 block away.

Do yourself a favor and get the Bacon Avocado Grilled Cheese (BAGC) and a side of loaded hash browns.
