8th St. Coffee House

Great coffee! Cute space. Fair prices. A few cool street art pieces to hunt down in the vicinity. And a cute micro shop for local soaps and such. Clean unisex bathrooms.

It's a real coffee house! I stumbled in looking for a coffee house & was amazed. Great atmosphere, great menu & great people. I will have to return to Wichita Falls just for that!!!

Cute place. Food was good but … not welcoming at all. Place closes at 2. We arrived at 1:20 and staff was already cleaning and making it obvious they wanted to close. We received food and coffee in short order and all was delicious but while we ate staff was making a huge racket stacking chairs, mopping floor right up to our feet, and increasing volume of music. They all but screamed GET OUT!! Will we return, maybe but not after 1 pm.

We went on a Saturday about 1130. It was very busy and there were lots of people, but we did not have to wait for a table. The staff was very friendly. When you walk in there isn't much place for a line so I felt like I was in the way. If you stand in line you also block the door which is kind of troublesome since it's the only enterance/exit and you constantly have to move to let people through.

Great coffee, great food and extremely reasonable prices...

Took them 15 minutes to make my coffee. I spoke with the person who took my order and she told me that they made a mistake and had to remake it. Kinda tells me that you waited a while to start. BYW there were only 4 people in the place. Also no apology for the delay. Good coffee though.

This place is delicious! I’m from Garland, TX but I’d definitely drive up there with my boyfriend to go get another one of their Breakfast Bacon Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. I’m jealous of whoever lives a block away. Anyways 10/10 recommend this place.

Amazing service!! Food and coffee were fabulous!!!

I’m visiting my husband for a weekend and we decided to try this place out! The food was delicious, the coffee was amazing, and I loved the ambience of it! The music was loud and fun, the overall vibes of the decor are so cozy and dreamy!

Walked into 8th Coffee Shop at 1:10pm. There was a line out the door. Stood in line until 1:25. There was no one behind me. Began to place our lunch order and was told by the young woman, covered in body piercings, that “Sorry. Our kitchen is closed”…..WHAT?! She said “We close the kitchen at 1:30”. I looked at my phone and it was 1:25. The owner walked up to the counter and said “We can keep the kitchen open”. There was no one behind me and only a half apology provided. This young woman needs a lesson in customer service, instead of being preoccupied with quitting time. Please re-educate your employees and stamp the Millennial attitude out if you want a successful business. We will be telling EVERYONE we know about our experience. P.S. Gidgett’s Sandwich shop (who also closes at 2pm) was fabulous with the owner vowing to NEVER turn away a customer.
