Good local coffee shop. Coffee is good. The atmosphere is definitely eclectic. Feels like it could use some sprucing up.

Run through the drive-thru every once-in-a-while, but every time, the drinks are delicious like nobody's business. I don't normally get the drinks that have coffee, as I am not a big fan of most coffee, but I'd drink the coffee they sell here any day! Keep up the good work!

If you’re passing through Waco you can’t afford to miss this local and student favorite coffee shop. Located just steps from campus, there’s rarely a time where this place isn’t bustling with students trying to get their caffeine fix before, between, or after class. The cowboy coffee will forever hold a special place in my heart, but I occasionally switch things up for a delicious chocolate Florentine or matcha latte. Skip the drip coffee if you’re in it for the flavor, this is a blend that’s not worth writing home about. Common grounds is definitely worth a stop on your next trip through Waco!

Pretty and comfortable coffee place!

Cute atmosphere but very crowded and some of the seating options, like the couches are awkward and may have you facing strangers, for example. The coffee is also a bit overpriced (and you will likely wait upwards of 30 minutes to get through the line) and not much better tasting than other coffee shops'. Nice for shows with a good stage, but still too crowded outside. Students may enjoy the seating and atmosphere but if you just want to chill, it's not quite right for that. The employees are always lovely though.

Yummy coffee! Their chai latte was amazing! Drive thru was very quick as well especially considering how busy they were. Not too expensive either like some other stand alone coffee shops. Would definitely come here if you’re a coffee lover!

This was a happening little place. Picked up an organic hot tea. Too late for coffee. It was delicious!

I've been to a lot of coffee houses, and the atmosphere in this place is up there, maybe my favorite. The crowd is decidedly college students as it is next to Baylor U, and that is nice to be around, too. I had a dark coffee and was yummy. Service was friendly. Toilet was comfy and clean.
The sound check for the evening's entertainment in the backyard was excellent given what you would expect from a coffee house, and the guy they were checking for was very talented with nice songs. I love a place that gets good talent.
No food but a few pastries at this place.
EDIT: Went there last night and they had some kind of Christian music thing going on. Bummer. Downgraded to 4 stars.

Cute little Waco coffee shop. Loved the atmosphere. Staff made me an iced coffee instead of hot and when I let them know, the cashier sighed and rolled her eyes and did not offer to remake it. It made an enjoyable initial experience lackluster. We won't be back.

This is my happy place! So many comfy places to sit and relax with a good book and some coffee.
