Awesome place. Love the coffee. People are nice and the place is very cozy. I’m always happy to have good service. The Nobull is the go to for me but all the drinks r nice and that too for a reasonable price. The outside is good when the weAthers good and the inside is air conditioned. Beware of the crowd coz sometimes u won’t have space to sit down…

NO BULL! LITERALLY! This review probably won't matter since they really cater to the needs of baylor students, but here is my take. They are easily one of my favorite coffee places of all time. If you like Starbucks, maybe this place is not for you. They have one the best Ethiopian blend, and combined with their secret sauce, it's just magnificent. It was smooth, just right amount of sweet and creaminess, and right amount of nutty. Probably will go to this place on a daily basis if I live in Waco. They have a cozy place too, and occasionally, live music. Yea, very nice!

We very much enjoyed our first visit to Common Grounds in Waco! The drinks were amazing, and the space had a great vibe. The service was wonderful, and we enjoyed using the nice patio space out back. We will definitely be back in the future!

Super funky coffee shot near the campus. We first saw it on Fixer Upper and wanted to visit while in Waco. It didn't disappoint. It looks like they have live music on the outdoor stage at night. The coffee was great and pastries were tasty. Everyone was very friendly. I will visit again next time I'm in town, for sure.

This is one of those places you have to visit if you come to Waco. It has the most cozy interior, lots of places to study, read, or just relax, and of course the drinks are great. Such a great college atmosphere, and the backyard area is an awesome space as well! You also have to visit Heritage Creamery next door if you are in the area!

Such a neat space! Very cozy and welcoming. They guy that took my order was super nice and had no trouble explaining and recommending coffee to me.

I ended up getting a No Bull, with 1/3 of the sweetener (I don’t like super sweet coffee) - it is super good!!

I would definitely recommend stopping here: good coffee, good vibes. They have a great outdoor space to enjoy your coffee. 👍🏻

This is a great place with good coffee. I do prefer it when Baylor is not in session because is gets so busy, but it's a great atmosphere.

Nice vibe in this eclectic, rustic hangout. Several nooks make more private feeling and a good place to relax. But I wasn't impressed with the drinks. We had 3 and all of them missed the mark. The 4-shot frozen cap was more sugar than coffee. The Mexican hot chocolate was more milk than chocolate. And the ginger chai was insipid.

We love this place. It’s so relaxing and homey and comfortable. Today I had the dark chocolate hot chocolate and it was amazing. Warm and creamy. You could hang out here for hours and not realize it.

I really like the look of Common Grounds, both inside and out. It's an old residential building that has been converted into a rustic coffee house and student hangout. I felt a little weird and out of place when I entered, however. Not that the staff was not friendly. They were. But everyone in the place was under 25 except for my wife and I. We are 65 years old. That 40 year age difference can't easily be hidden! But the age thing is my issue because nobody in the place, staff or student, looked sideways at us at all. I ordered a nitro cold brew but was advised that it is not available at this time. So, I settled on a drip brew coffee with cream. I planned on enjoying my coffee with a scoop of ice cream from the shop next door, so drip coffee would serve that purpose just fine. I don't know what blend of coffee I received, but it was very flavorful and smooth. I really liked it! Plus, the temperature was perfect. I've been in some big name coffee shops mid day only to receive drip coffee that was lukewarm and unpleasant. Not here! I really like Common Grounds, both the look of the place and the product. And even though I'm an old geezer, I would not hesitate to go back again for some excellent coffee and friendly service.
