Funky little coffee shop with light bakery item snacks and some novelty items for sale. Lots of choices on coffees and drip was tasty. Music and patio. 4 stars is just because it’s an old building and bathroom was kinda grody. Looks like an amazing local hang out to hear music or just chill.

This coffee shop is great place to relax and get some caffeine recharged had a late and guy was not shy about it. Excellent customer service and by the cashier and him. Great atmosphere, great attitude. I was tempted to put four stars because the parking lot is confusing and I had to ask well it’s on the back of the line off buildings the entrance is next to the UPS store by the way. But 4 stars wouldn’t reflect the service and overall experience.

Everytime I am in Waco, I go to Common Grounds. Coffee and service are always consistent. A wide variety of hot and cold drinks. Of course you can have milk in your coffee. They also have almond and oat milk. If you've never tried Oat milk, you just gotta! Stop by today and check out Common Grounds.

This place is perfection. The coffee is legit.
They have all manner of coffee drinks from the sweet to the highly charged and caffeinated. They have cozy spots inside to chat or read or study, a patio with mismatched chairs and tables of all sorts, and a backyard complete with a stage. I attended the Gungor concert there recently, and it was wonderful. The venue proved to be cozy and quaint. I felt like I was in Gungor‘s yard jamming with them. There are a few seats out there, but it is mostly standing room only. The acoustics are nothing fancy, but the simple feel was just right. There is parking out back. This place is a Waco classic.

Common Grounds is a cute coffee shop with a country vibe. I had a chai latte which was very good. We chose this coffee shop because they had alternative milk options , including specifically coconut milk . The coffee shop is located next to the Baylor University campus. There is on street parking available in front of the restaurant. Prices were reasonable and the staff were all friendly.

My standard for a coffee shop! Great venue to stop by for any and everyone. Cowboy coffee is the play here. CG has great music bookings that make shows personal. Free WiFi, great selection of coffee, fun apparel, and good people!

The atmosphere is amazing! Such good coffee and great people. It’s a perfect spot to study, hang out with friends, or just relax. The backyard is the perfect concert venue that is also available for rent.

Common grounds was great ! I got the lavender latte, loved it ! The bathrooms were a little crusty but overall great.

I love this coffee shop. Me and my friend stopped by while driving down to Austin and they have amazing coffee and a great cozy atmosphere. If I weren't running late due to my bad time management skills, I would've stayed longer to read a book or study.
