Peggy's Coffee House

Are you looking for the perfect coffee blend mixed with a cool atmosphere? If so, then look no further! Make the trip to Peggy's Coffee House! Their coffee is just as amazing as their team. I was helped by Rachel during my last trip and I can't rave enough about her excellent her excellent customer service. Peggy's offers a large variety of hot, iced, and cold coffee. You must try their famous Death Wish Coffee and Butterbeer blended. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Not the best. Starbucks is better and I don’t love Starbucks. They are friendly. But my Valhalla coffee was very watery and had chunks in it. Just not the best. I get it’s iced down but they charge extra for that. To be watery. Just a disappointment. We came here over Starbucks.

This is the only reason we come to the Temple Mall. The owner was so great to us yesterday and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

As my family and I were placing our orders, we asked the guy (very heavy set) if the apple cider can come cold. He said "yes". We completed our order, paid, and waited to be called. When my son recieved his apple cider it was hot. My son explained what he ordered, the guy spoke to the woman who made it, then came back and said it could only be iced. (It wasn't even iced) I stepped in to remind him of the conversation when we ordered. He said he told us "that it could not be cold that it could only be iced". That conversation never took place. The only answer he gave us was "yes". The woman then came over to say that there was nothing that could be done. That she could make another drink and discount it 10 percent. We said no thank you. We left.

We received what we did not order and paid for it. We were told that it could be made cold. This establishment did not correct their mistake, lied about it, then treated us awful. The woman treated returning customers with so much attitude that we will not return again. With Black rifle coffee, Dutch brothers, the healthy place, and so many other coffee/beverage cafés, you would think Peggy's would strive to keep their customers satisfied. One last thing, they were not busy. One customer before us and one customer after us. There are no excuses to have been treated the way we were treated.

Update: the response is not accurate. The young man at the front has been there for months. The other employee that was there knew of the situation immediately and was very rude, as if we were trying to get a free drink. We just wanted our order corrected. Because of how rude this lady was, I along with my family members who were there that day, 7 in all will not be returning.

I recently revisited Peggy's Coffee House, I usually order a Breve Mocha. This trip I explained what I was looking for in my special cup as it had fallen short of expectations before. The staff was very helpful and made an effort to deliver just what I asked for. It was the best cup yet from Peggy's.

I was the only other person in line. 1 older gentleman in front of me, I was in a bit of a rush and waited about 5 mins while the barista flirted with this gentleman right in front of me. Didn’t even acknowledge me or say give me 1 moment. They just went on about their conversation and I just walked away and didn’t even get spoken to.. I was 5 feet away fro her.. lady with red hair.

The coffee was great but the employee I encountered was extremely transphobic. She insisted on calling me by my dead name despite me telling her multiple times my actual name, and she replied "well I don't think I can do that". It confused other customers and embarrassed me considering I'm a big burly dude having to respond to a name no longer fitting. I was ashamed and never came back. However, the Elvis presley is amazing. 2/5

The people here are always friendly and willing to help. The coffee is good and they have lots of imagination when making new Brews. We need to continue supporting small-business is like this that make our community great.
