The homemade breakfast was great. I loved the customer service. When I got ready to pay my bill. I was told another customer paid for my food. I was really happy to know that there are still some grateful, humble people still in this world. Thank you for great experience in Sulfur Springs, Tx

The interior decor is old western, the staff is friendly and the food is so deliciously homemade. And at a very good price! My only complaint is that they close pretty early. But it's well worth it to wake up early and head over to eat there!

We travel over an hour to come here and it is WORTH IT! This place has the BEST pecan cobbler I've ever had and every meal we've had has been incredible. The chicken fried steak is a favorite of mine now and their turnip greens are seasoned perfectly! We've also met the owner who seems very passionate about her cafe, from her staff that seem to love their jobs, to the awesome rustic decor and, the food that's even more impressive the Pioneer Cafe is fantastic!

Awesome food! Family friendly and sweet staff (Karen and Sherry, thank you!). We stopped on our road trip west for lunch and wanted a good, sit down meal, not greasy fast food. Everything was super tasty, great portions and all came out quickly. My kids said 'best fries ever!' Fabulous, fresh baked rolls and handmade burgers. The roast beef special was heavenly and the pastrami tissue paper thin and generous. So delicious!

What a place to eat! Everything was home made: the cornbread, the open faced roast beef, the malts, the mashed potatoes, the gravy, and the price was great! Even I was full after my meal! Ask for Ms. Sherry, she is an amazing hostess and she will take care of you like you were eating Thanksgiving dinner at the family's, but without the arguing! Five star for SURE!

Great little cafe. Eggs cooked a perfect over medium. Bacon also perfect for me, although some may think it was overdone…I like it crispy. The pancakes had a homemade quality to them that is undefinable but definitely unlike iHop. My husband had an omelet with corned beef hash. He said the omelet was good and I tried the CBH because I’d never had it and I liked it too.
The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. One of them noticed when we walked in just from my body language that I was kinda chilly and directed us to a table in the corner where the AC didn’t blow as much.
The decor is charming, with a high ceiling and different themes in each corner. We had stopped to use the Tesla Supercharger across the street or we may not have ever found this little gem.

My experience is was good.

The morning crew, cooks, waitresses couldn't be any better then I mite find in town.

Go thier, you'll be glad you did.
Leave plenty of room to get ALL those great grocerys down.

Cup of Joe not bad as well.

Tip the girls well, they deserve it.

What a cute little place! The staff is VERY welcoming, the food is delicious, and the sweet tea is LEGIT. 10/10
The atmosphere is homey and the building has this historic vibe.
I got the chicken fried steak! Was not disappointed! I will definitely be back!

Great down home cooking at a fair price. Quaint decor makes you feel like you are in Grandma's farm kitchen. Just wish they were open on Saturdays.
