This was my first time coming to this restaurant and everything was wonderful. My only concern for this restaurant is the cleanliness of the kitchen floor. Everything is clean where food is prepared but the floor is bit of a mess and seems like it hasn’t been mopped or scrubbed in a while. Other than that everything was wonderful and delicious

If you love breakfast, you’ll love this place. Had three eggs over medium (cooked perfectly), bacon, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and a short stack with endless cups of coffee. It was a lot of well cooked food. Fast, friendly waitress.

Our first time to pioneer cafe was March 17 the service was so bad and the food was cold the owner was so sweet and gave us a voucher to come back. Today is April 24 we’re back and not any better service was slow the food was cold again I like my food warm when it comes out of the kitchen. Both times was right around 1pm out of so much I do understand to not waste food with the cost of every thing but really. Two strikes not sure I will be back.🥵

French Dip and chips. Pastrami and fries. Delicious! Coffee .... not to good and water had a strong chlorine taste. Food was really good tho'. Dip for the French Dip was the best I've ever had .... not salty like most are!

Always great food. Just like my mother would do. Plus the decor is great. Love the cow hide hanging on the wall.

Passing thru I found this charming restaurant offering freshly home cooked breakfast and lunch. Awesome display of memorabilia. The 1824 flag is the Alamo flag.

First time here. Everything is made from scratch. They even have corned beef hash on the menu.
They're open Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm. We will definitely be back.

Sulphur Springs is a delightful city. The Pioneer Cafe's food was excellent. Their mesquite griiled chicken is the bomb! The building is a beautiful old building with a tin ceiling and crown molding.

Great lunch spot. Located on the fringe of downtown next to plenty of shops. Seat yourself atmosphere with hearty food. Loved the coleslaw and onion rings! Oh, and the pecan cobbler with a scoop of vanilla was big enough for two! Other notes... Charging station parking across the street and a groovy fossil/rock shop and jeweler next door.

Excellent food, served hot and fresh. Uniquely decorated interior.
