This is a must! First time we have ever been and it wont be the last! I got the tuna toast with the cilantro sauce, super delicious!!! Husband got the ranchero, and the kids got the Paris French toast. Everything thing was priced fairly, The portions were great. Kids had to take Togo boxes. My daughter and I ordered tea, It is so nice to go to a place that actually orders the good stuff! The tea was 10/10 for those of you who are tea drinkers you know what I mean(Rishi is the brand) . I can't say enough good things about this place. It is down town, there is patio seating, the decorations inside give you that cozy café type feeling. The owner or manager not sure what his title was, came around with a place of extra stuff like cookies and things that they had extra of and went around to all the kids in the restaurant . Of course my kids were on cloud nine.

The food is good, but the service is better. The owner came out and handed out cookies the second time I went and I got free mimosas the second time I went. I would highly recommend this quaint restaurant if you are in sulphuric springs.

This was a exquisite lunch at a bistro style restaurant. The chicken bacon club was an excellent choice. The location was fairly busy as there were 6 or 7 tables of 2 to 5 people each. There seemed to be plenty of servers as we did not wait long for our meal. The waiter we had was very attentive with our drinks and checking on us throughout the dining experience. Excellent job Haystack!

Soooo good. After driving 12 hours we stumbled upon this place and today we drove all night to start our day here once again.
Why?
Because after being cooped up in a car with three people and 2 dogs a nice spacious restaurant with friendly staff and really good food makes it possible to face the long day ahead.
This trip I've discovered the gift shop section and love the Flowers by Ann which supports local nursing homes.
I highly recommend coming in for breakfast!

Chicken & waffles were sooooo good. Perfect crisp to chicken and juicy in the middle and crispy edges on the waffles with fluffy in the middle. The waffles were sweet enough without syrup, which was delightful. I enjoyed the spicy syrup but could be more spicy (I eat a lot of hot foods). The shrimp and grits were good, but definitely not Cajun (Louisiana girl, so a little biased). We will be returning so I can try the biscuits and gravy!

Excellent experience, the staff were very helpful even brought out some off item beignets for us to have, man it tasted like Cafe du Monde in New Orleans.
I had the Chicken and Waffles and it was fantastic. Bloody Mary's were simple but on point, nicely spiced. Good presentation was spot on. Excellent birthday brunch.

We absolutely love this restaurant! We drive over an hour just for the food. It started with my sister, then my mother, and now us. We came from all over to meet here for brunch. Every meal we have tried has been delicious: shrimp n grits, chicken fried steak, french toast, biscuit n gravy, lox bagel, steak and eggs, avocado toast, mimosas, sunrise, and the lattes iced. The servers are great at what they do, the owner walks around checking on people and they remember faces. We enjoy each visit, they are child friendly and we have not had more than a 20 minute wait, at most, when they were busy. Highly recommend eating at Haystacks!

They have a specialty sandwich called the Hannibal which is to die for. Ha! The ambiance is country chic which fits right in with the great downtown face-lifts. Service was awesome and super accommodating.

4.5 Stars Lunch was a good time to stop by and try out one of the newer spots downtown. The crowd was small and service was good. Our server explained it was her first day serving lunch and offered us complimentary mimosas. Our food was out in a good amount of time. We had a salad and tacos. The tacos were ok, the shells were a little tough for soft shells. The amount of shrimp on both were generous. The value for a lunch meal was high, more like a special meeting type lunch rather than an everyday stop. We will have to come by for breakfast one day.

This place was excellent for brunch! Their chicken fried steak was delicious, and we also had their bread pudding French toast! If you go on Friday they also have a mimosa special.
