Wonderful food and excellent service. We had a chance to finally try out this new place and we were not disappointed. We arrived around 1:00 PM and there were a fair amount of people there but we didn't have to wait for a table. The atmosphere was very nice. Not too loud but not extremely quiet either. The food was delicious and came out quickly after we ordered. Our server Jamie was amazing. She was extremely helpful, kind and had a spectacular attitude. We will definitely be back.

Excellent breakfast! We stay in Sulphur Springs once a year for a family reunion on Lake Fork. We decided to try a restaurant near the square and hit a home run! I can't say enough about the service and food! We will certainly be back! The Haystack definitely has a step up on the average breakfast.

This place is super cute and seems like it’s trying to be elevated bistro food. The prices and ingredients are there for sure. Quality food to boot. The atmosphere is confused though. There was a book nook and low lighting which makes you want to speak low while you enjoy a latte and avocado toast…then all of a sudden an Applebee’s style birthday train comes along and sings an obnoxiously loud song to the table beside you. It was awkward enough to lower my rating and our table to all throw confused looks at each other 🤣🤣 I’d go back maybe after trying everything else in town.

This is a GEM! Wonderful menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, full service bar as well. Brunches look like they would be really good also. Prices are good, service was exceptional. Will be returning often.

Great little cafe with great service. The specialty tea and coffee drinks were excellent. My husband had the Cowboy Quiche, and we shared a beignet starter, and waffle/chicken kabobs. Plus a fresh-baked croissant that was flaky and tender.

We came here for a brunch date and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the pastry platter. All of the pastries were exceptional with a good variety of flavors. The croissant cinnamon roll had a perfect flaky texture. The lemon danish was unique and so good. The fruit tart filled with blackberry cobbler was the absolute best.
We also enjoyed coffee, a screwdriver, and the haystacks plate. Everything from the biscuits to the spicy syrup to the gravy was delicious. The prices are good for a brunch spot of this caliber. The service was wonderful. Best breakfast we’ve had in SS. We will return!

Always a delicious experience! I love the vibe at haystack, classy yet not stuffy. Great service, friendly staff, and a fantastic menu.

Went for first date night in new City. What a utter dissipoiment. Atmosphere was not what was described on web page. My drink was watery, (sweet tea) my food was burnt.(fish and chips) and I truly don't think there was a drop of alcohol in my drink. 2 drinks , 2 meals 80$ .waited long time for bad food. And let us not for get the guy in the horse costume. That was not on web page..NEVER AGAIN..Truly want my money back
