CJ's Coffee Cafe

Love this place, the fresh smell of coffee instantly grabs you when you walk inside. I'm not a coffee connoisseur and cannot tell you anything about their beans. I can only express the feel of the coffee shop that makes me want to whip out my laptop and work on some of my projects. The coffee taste great of coarse. Its such a great way to break up the monotony of the work day. Im pretty sure I'll be visiting often.

Just awful! Ordered a cinnamon roll & a ham, cheese, jalepeno croissant. $7.04. Gave the girl $10. Told her I had the change. She says, "Did you say, keep the change?" No. I'm giving you the change. "Oh, I can't change it now". Apparently doesn't know to give me $3. Ok fine. Then she says, "We don't have any cinnamon rolls". Why did you take my $? I'll take a frittata. "We just threw them away". How about a cheese Danish? "Ok". I left with something labeled mango & the croissant had 1 tiny, paper thin piece of ham, a 1/2 tsp of jalapeno & even less cheese. Too bad bcuz the menu looked promising. Won't be back! What a joke!

This was my first time here. The service was superb!! Very friendly, quick and accurate! I decided to eat there. They brewed a fresh pot of coffee for me and let me know the wait time before finishing my order to make sure I was okay with it. Love being there and will definitely go back!

The starbucks line was long so I thought I would give this place a try. Huge mistake. I ordered a latte, extra hot. I got a minute down the road and took a sip. It was barely even warm. I would have gone back but I was on a schedule so I just drank some of it quickly, but ended up throwing 3/4 of it away because it just wasn't warm enough to drink. Waste of money and waste of time. As a side not the latte was not that good anyway. Mediocre flavor at best. This was at the Travis Street location near Waldo Funeral Home. To be more specific, I order two Vanilla Lattes with an extra shot and extra hot and added a tip. It didn't taste like we got the extra shot either. So disappointing.

Wonderful coffee, delicious food!, amazing staff! The coffee is roasted by CJ's and the taste is so much better than anything you'll ever get at Starbucks. The atmosphere inside is so peaceful not to mention impeccably clean. I go by every time I'm in Sherman to get either a Honey Latte with or Meadow Iced Latte! If you haven't been do yourself a favor and go. If you don't know what you want the helpful staff will be more than willing to give you some suggestions.

I want to like this place but it is so hit or miss. Love the flat whites, but today the ice latte was so milky I doubt there was any espresso in it and they forgot my muffin. Also tipping is VERY awkwardly handled here.

Great food, great coffee, great atmosphere, great staff. What more do you want?!

So the sweet cream iced coffee is very good and will come back for that. But that’s the end of the good part. Bulletproof coffee was way too oily to me. Came back and tried the meat boards and salad for lunch, wasn’t impressed. The bread they serve is terrible, the veggies were extremely scant on the salad, it just wasn’t good. Also tried the breakfast croissants, equally unimpressed. I was hopeful for this place on Travis st as we recently relocated to the area, but the food just isn’t working out. Looking at these pics, our food most definitely did not look like that : (

I love their coffee 😍. But the Salted Caramel Frappe is my new favorite. They have the best customer service and no matter how long the line is I've never had to wait too long.
