Damn Fine Coffee and Fried Pies

Tried this place tonight on a girl's night out. The coffee was amazing. Mel and his wife are the sweetest couple. Outside seating under the stars and lights allowed us to social distance easily. We enjoyed a King's Cake empanada...yummy. Mel showed us his roasting room. Wow...didn't realize so much went into a cup of coffee.
Looking forward to more trips back to try more flavors of coffee and homemade goodies. 🥰

A great little coffee house and the owner roasts the coffee on-site. He's friendly guy who will explain the fine art of roasting a coffee bean. This place also serves up some homemade "gelato-to-die-for." The fried pies are "fresh off the press." Outdoor seating only, under big shade trees...a nice place to chill out.

This place is so cozy and chill. Great spot to grab coffee with friends. And their toffee almond gelato is freaking amazing. We also got the pumpkin cheesecake fried pie which is seasonal for fall and it is mouth watering 😋

Love this coffee always have a bag in the pantry would definitely recommend it!

The outdoor seating was surprisingly large but pretty full. The pie was like a cross between a pasty and a pie. Two pies were enough for each person. Their coffee was well balanced. Easily on my top 5 coffee shops in the greater Houston area

Wow, what a different experience I had today! Had been another time a few weeks ago and it was fabulous, but was disappointed today on my second trip back to this cute establishment. The coffee today was not good at all and when I went to ask if they could make me another coffee I was told I could purchase another cup of coffee. So I ended up throwing my 16oz cup of coffee away and leaving disappointed. Let me say I am a single mom and a teacher in a local school district and get little time and very little extra funds to spend on myself. So this may not seem like a big deal, but to me it was where I chose to spend some extra money on an experience to recharge my battery on a Sunday before a long week at work! Anyway, was so very disappointed in the customer service today!

I came across this place by chance on DoorDash and I couldn’t be more thankful that I did. It’s a taste of New Orleans in Seabrook. This place is amazing. The coffee, pricing, portion sizes, and THE FLAVOR are all incredible. Everything tasted freshly homemade. I was hooked on the first bite. The remoulade sauce that came on the side with each dish was an added bonus. Can’t wait to bring my friends and family here!

Excellent coffees, teas, cookies, scones, and the gelato is off the hook WOW what wonderful flavors. Some of the flavors are seasonal and worth every bit of a taste. The staff is friendly, courteous and make you feel right at home. Give it a try and you'll be surprised.

Ok, my daughter made me go to this place, with my wife, after church. Wasnt expecting a lot. Drove up to a little hole in the wall place with no inside dining. This place is incredible. The savory fried pies, breakfast fried pies and desert fried pies are AWESOME! Bought a bag of coffee that the roast in small batches on site. It is incredible and no more expensive than you would pay for Starbucks, just better. They have a little building they roast the coffee in. Stuck my head inside and didnt want to leave it smelled so good. Cant wait until the weather is good enough to ride my motorcycle to this place and sit out side with a cup of coffee and a fried pie. Staff is also awesome.

The chocolate Gelato was my favorite, nice creamy and smooth. It was really hot inside waiting to order. We also had a fried pie. The crust was good, but some of the inside was hot and other parts not.
