After hearing loads of positive reviews about this place, I finally went there on a winter evening and I was certainly not disappointed with their ambience and food.

The coffee shop is spacious, clean, and just the perfect amount of lighting to set the mood for coffee lovers enjoying a nice hot coffee and chilling.

The art and decor is pretty nice, while I could suggest more cozy chairs or even sofas to mix it up.

The food was great. I had a mocha for $5, a bit expensive but worth the overall experience.

Would go there again!

Update: the ownership of the store has changed but it still serves coffee with the same quality, taste, and ambience.

I recently visited this coffee cafe and I must say I was thoroughly impressed!

The ambiance was clean and modern, and the coffee itself was out of this world.

They use a lighter blend for espresso and it was quite fruity and smooth - a taste I won’t forget soon. As someone who usually opts for oat milk Califia barista blend, I was thrilled to find that they had it here too. The barista was a delight - they had a smile on their face the whole time and their skills in making a vanilla latte with steamed milk art were exceptional. I'm new in town and it was my first time at this cafe, but I'm definitely planning on coming back! If you're a coffee lover, this is definitely a must-visit spot.

Definitely one of the cutest places to grab a coffee and study. They have outlets at every seat which is the best. Also very spacious. The absolute best cold brew with cold foam I’ve ever had too!!!

I originally came to this coffee shop a few years back and while is wasn't bad I felt it was missing something. Just recently came back and it's not the same shop, it's better. The lights are brighter which is great for working all while the ambience is great for socializing. The added lounge and plants are great too. They also have variety of teas in case you'r not feeling coffee. They also have Topo Chico, great choice. The bathrooms are clean

The hibiscus lavender lemonade was absolutely delicious, not too sweet and very refreshing the customer service was also excellent. However the bagels on the other hand were quite hard which was unfortunate but maybe it was just a bad day for bagels? I'll try again some other day and update

The cashier/barista was friendly and pleasant. Then, she impressed is with her skills at making 3 of the best specialty coffees we have had in weeks. Amazing. Worth the trip!

Stellar is under new management! And with that came an entire remodel. While the old cafe was adorned with unique mementos, photos, and had more of a house-turned-coffee shop feel, the new layout is much more modern. Everything is uniformed and tri-chromatic. It’s the IKEA model of coffee bars.
Now with the name change came a change in coffee source. The beans come from Austin, TX. Their blends are slightly more robust and flavorful. Yet the prices have stayed the same.

Fair prices. Friendly staff. Students welcome. Plenty of outlets. Fast free Wifi. Desks and coffee tables to work in groups.

We stopped at this local coffee shop to get some coffee for our road trip. My husband and I both ordered cold brew coffees and it was some of the most flavorful coffee I've had in a while. The barista was also very friendly, we swapped stories about random things. We plan to visit again when we visit San Marcos.

I loved the menu here, it’s creative. A little pricey, I think, but worthy if you are just staying for a couple days in town. I went back 3 times and all my drinks ranged between $6-7 with milk modification.

Ask for drinks in their own cups to avoid plastic. Their plastic cups are not environmentally friendly. Play the ones they got are way prettier.

It has a student vide definitely. Good music and quite atmosphere. They got some specials for students too but this vary throughout the year so check their Instagram constantly.

Don’t call. I tried calling 2 different days, no one picked up.

A shout out to the baristas! They are very friendly. I was asking a lot of questions.

I had a strawberry matcha with almond milk, a Secret drink (name on my blog) and a Sakura.

Probably a good place to hangout and do some work but otherwise, didn't really like the coffee. 3 of us got 3 different types and none of us walked out of there feeling like we got something good.
